Thank you club volleyball for the last six years

I can’t even believe I’m doing this because of how much this sport has always meant to me. I will miss the game so much more than I can put into words.

Volleyball has brought me countless friends and memories and I am forever grateful to every single person who was apart of this journey. Through different, teams, coaches, clubs, and positions I always came back to the sport I loved and it tears me apart to see this journey end. In the last year my love for the game has faded, but my love for the memories I’ve made will never end. I could talk for days about different funny moments at practices or tournaments that I’ll never forget, or different guys just like me that I’ve met while traveling all across the country for tournaments. This sport has really shaped me to be the person I am today.

I want to give a special thanks to the two clubs that took me under their wing and taught me everything I know. @excelboysvolleyball thank you for teaching me the fundamentals, helping me learn, and bringing me an abundance of love for the sport. And @dallasonevolleyball thank you for letting me try new things, giving me the opportunity to grow, and always believing in me. I don’t know where I would be without the wonderful people who are apart of these programs who coached me and showed me who I could be on the court.

And to my team this year, I wanted to thank you all for loving on me and letting me lead as I try a new position. Although this season didn’t end the way I wanted to, I’m so glad that I had my final year with such a great group of guys.

How lucky am I to get to say I got to play volleyball with all of these amazing people.
