So much has happened this year.

I’ve written and recorded an album, released five singles, had my music played on BBC Introducing, ended up with a lovely spread in the JEP and most importantly, I’m still making music and doing the thing I love.

BROKEN PEOPLE is coming 6th November.

Please have a listen on bandcamp and sign up to the mailing list - link in bio 🖤

Maybe it’s no surprise I’ve always loved songs like these.

Dark, haunting, vulnerable, a little uncomfortable.

Uninvited by Alanis Morissette has that tension and intensity I’m always drawn to in music.

So with Broken People coming this November, here’s a little Alanis while you wait… 🖤

🃏PUPPET ON ICE 🧊

I’ve picked out the bridge for this one.

This song encompasses a whole bag of emotions I needed to unpack.

It’s almost my version of “Nobody puts Baby in a corner.”

Underestimate me at your peril.

“You go disrespecting me
Im not gonna listen to your bullshit
Cause we had a deal”

Puppet On Ice from Broken People, out this November 6th. 🖤 Preorder now on bandcamp - link in bio ❤️‍🔥

🃏PUPPET ON ICE 🧊

You don't have to accept disrespect.
You don't have to accept being ignored when it suits someone.
You don't have to listen to bullshit.

“I’ll scream whenever I want to
Go to bed when I want you
I’m not your puppet on ice.”

Don't let anyone try to clip your wings.

Puppet On Ice from Broken People, out this November. 🖤

So lovely to hear Broken People played on BBC Radio Channel Islands again last night 🖤🎶

Forever grateful to Tim Hunter for his continued support and such kind words about my music. It genuinely means so much.

I’m so glad he loves this song, and I hope you’re loving it too. 🖤

Broken People — out now everywhere.

A lovely little feature in the JEP today 🖤🎶

They asked me all about my musical tastes — my favourite genres, albums and songs, and some of the music that’s shaped me over the years.

Here’s a little peek at the write-up 👀 Go grab yourself a copy if you want to know more!

So nice to be asked, and another little plug for my album Broken People, coming this November. 🖤

I got asked by a punter to play some Amy Winehouse, so I went away and learnt Back to Black… and it’s gone down so well everywhere I’ve played it since. 🖤

I do love Amy. I found the film incredibly sad, it’s hard not to think how amazing it would have been if she’d been able to get the help she needed and was still here with us today.

Such an incredible, distinctive artist and songwriter.

Here’s my version of Back to Black. 🖤🎶
