As an aspiring music-focused photographer, I decided that my event should be music-related. I found this show for a band, Cordovas, I had only heard one song from and decided to give it a go. Going into it I thought it was only going to be Cordovas, but upon arrival I quickly learned that there would be two opening acts: Gavin Kattesh and Weatherames. Although the lighting was dim and very backlit, the character of the venue carried a lot of weight and little did I know that this show would become the best show I have ever attended. A lively, yet sparsley attended show at a dive bar called Morsbergers Tavern in Catonsville, Maryland, on a Monday night in August. This gave me the realization that this is what I want to make a career of. The day prior to the show I messaged the band and asked to shoot and the next day I feel like I’ve known Cordovas for a while.

Jeremy Clarkson got nothing on Farmer Aumen
•
Thanks to the Smith family for hosting me on their farm this weekend - I had a wonderful experience despite the heat!
•
I’ve always wanted to take pictures of farm animals, so I’m really glad I was able to this weekend. Being from a rural neighborhood surrounded by farms — I’m kinda surprised this didn’t happen sooner!

This collection of 7 photos makes up my final project for Elements of Advertising Photography this semester. Thank you to all who helped me work on this project, and I really hope to build off of this for more assignments in the future!
•
Definitely wished I had more gear for these, but given that this is my first attempt at advertising I’m pretty happy

As I find myself venturing deeper into concert photography, I have found myself in awe at the light show and performance put on by bands. And with this, I decided that I should try taking video and this is one of those attempts.

Six RIT bands play in the school’s annual Battle of the Bands event run by @ritjamclub in Munson Music Loft on RIT’s campus in Henrietta, N.Y., on March 28, 2026.
While capturing the event, I decided to play around with the film simulations on the Fujifilm X-T1. Here are some of the results!
