Our little boy is here. 🩵

Sage Hallren Boeckman
Born August 5 at 12:40 p.m., at home, surrounded by so much love.

Sage means a person recognized for profound wisdom, discernment and moral insight. We pray he grows into his name, grounded in faith, wisdom and courage.

We chose Hallren for his middle name after his late great-grandpa, Patrick Hallren, an incredible man whom we loved dearly. It means so much to us that Sage gets to share his name.

We welcomed Sage into the world at home, with our amazing midwife, Kristen Grauer, and doula, Aria Lane, by our sides.

Choosing a home birth was incredibly special to us. There was something sacred about welcoming our son in our own space, surrounded by peace, prayer, and the people we trusted most. The hardest thing I have ever done, and without question, the most meaningful.

Our lives are forever changed. We’re healthy, incredibly happy, and more thankful than we could ever put into words.

Welcome to the world, Sage. You are so deeply loved. 🩵 by @aundiep
