WE MADE THE TOP 20!!! 🏆✨

This one belongs to all of you.

Every vote. Every share. Every repost. Every text to a friend. Every person who came back day after day and said, “We’re getting Aunrée into that Top 20.”

I am deeply grateful for the love, the energy, the encouragement, and the belief you have poured into this journey. What started as a competition has become a community showing up, and proving what can happen when people decide to move something forward together.

We are officially in the TOP 20, and I could not have gotten here without you.

Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU.

And now… we keep going. 🔥

BÉING the art of living is a mirror for the reader, a love letter to every version of myself, and a reminder to appreciate each person who pours into us and leaves lessons that affirm our value and our reason for being alive.

I hope Langston Hughes is proud of me for bringing my deferred dream to life.

I hope the Harlem Renaissance is proud of me for carrying our legacy.

If you’re interested in a preview, see the link in my bio.

The Inspiration Behind the title, BÉING

I’m infatuated with the journey of life—life in motion. BÉING is just that, it is us, in pursuit of life, goals, vision and aspirations. It’s where our grit, resilience, audacity and courage are active. It’s also where we bask in the joys of life.

The Story Behind the Cover

This is the brilliant work of photographer Sean P. Watters. The cover had to feel alive. It holds elegance, power, softness, truth, and presence.

The back cover was captured by the creative genius M.A.L.
