Today, we recognize the strength, resilience, and contributions of Latinx communities in the fight against HIV.

HIV awareness starts with education, access to testing and prevention, and breaking down the stigma that too often prevents people from seeking care.

At Aunt Rita's Foundation, we believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, culturally responsive healthcare and the support they need to thrive.

Together, we can break barriers, end stigma, and move closer to a future with zero new HIV transmissions. ❤️

Today is National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day, a time to recognize the growing number of people aging with HIV and the importance of connection, support, and access to care at every stage of life.

At Aunt Rita’s Foundation, our Experience Escapades program creates opportunities for older adults living with HIV to connect, build community, and enjoy meaningful experiences together.

Aging with HIV comes with unique challenges, but no one should have to navigate them alone. Today, we celebrate long-term survivors, honor their stories, and recommit to making sure they continue to feel seen, supported, and connected.
