Are you ready to dive into deeper kōrero? Uncover the Power of Conversations:Aunty's House is proud to present our Fundraiser Conversation Card Deck 🃏 🌶️ These cards were created to be able to give each guest as they entered our first event, 'Chai Session' earlier this year, a question to sit with or share. 🎯 We wanted to give people a tool to help them skip the small talk and jump into deeper conversations with each other. The cards feature Rekha, an iconic Bollywood actress who was never afraid to take up space and speak her mind, as the cover with various vintage 'Travel India' postcard souvenir graphics as the aesthetic background alongside warm toned blocks for the card questions side. The Aunty's House Conversation Card Deck isn't just about cards; it's about creating bridges of understanding, forging deeper connections, embracing the rich tapestry of healing the inner child, and being openly curious about your life and others. Here are a few examples of the questions you'll find in the conversation card deck:🌈 How do you nurture your inner child?📚 What is one thing you wish you could tell your younger self?💖 What does it mean to be resilient?🌼 In what areas of your life do you feel the most fulfilled, and why?✉️ SHIPPING INFO:We are busy organising a few cool community events so will have the capacity to send these out in late September or early October. ⛓️ Link to purchase in our bioWe appreciate your support 🌻🏡 Aunty's House is a collective for the South Asian diaspora of Aotearoa, so currently we are shipping exclusively to addresses within New Zealand. #AuntysHouse #SouthAsianCommunity #HeritageCelebration #RepresentationMatters #CommunityCollective #SouthAsianDiaspora #Representation #Belonging #Uplifting #Connection #Heritage #Immigrants #Aotearoa #NewZealand #SouthAsianCharity #SaferSpace #UnityInDiversity #EmbraceAuthenticity #LoveAndHealing #CelebrateCulture **Disclaimer: Aunty's House does not own the rights to the graphics/images used on this particular deck. by @auntysh0use

🏡🌶️ Aunty’s House's vision is to uplift, empower, and foster connection within the South Asian diaspora in Aotearoa, a collective community where aunties express themselves authentically and vulnerably without masking their intersecting identities. We also believe in rising together 🌻; acknowledging and standing in solidarity with BIPOC & Queer communities who have also often been underrepresented and underappreciated. That's why when it comes to our bigger events, we've designed our ticketing system to reflect our commitment to this kaupapa. 🎯 👑 Priority tickets are reserved for those within the South Asian, BIPOC & Queer communities and Unwaged tickets for those from these communities. This structure is tailored to encourage greater participation and make the event accessible to those who might otherwise be excluded. 🦋 Our final ticket structure is for our Allies who play a crucial role in not only showing solidarity but also in helping fund opportunities for artists and creators from BIPOC backgrounds to thrive in their positions as guests in the space. Aunty’s House recognises Allies who are putting in the work to learn from the past for a more empathetic future. 🙏 This tiered approach acknowledges equitable participation, promoting collaboration and unity within our community, ensuring that at Aunty’s House everyone's contribution counts in creating a society we are proud to be a part of. 🤝🌎‼️We wanted to tautoko to FILTH (@filthakl) who inspired us to establish a ticketing system that embodies our kaupapa 🫶🏽#InclusiveArts #SupportingArtists #UnityInDiversity #SaferSpace #EmbraceAuthenticity #LoveAndHealing #CelebrateCulture #AuntysHouse #SouthAsianCommunity #HeritageCelebration #RepresentationMatters #CommunityCollective #SouthAsianDiaspora #Representation #Belonging #Uplifting #Connection #Heritage #Immigrants #Aotearoa #NewZealand by @auntysh0use
