RED STRING THEORY 🧶❤️

Our concept video for our Welcome to the 805 set is now out! This project was so much fun to reimagine and revamp as a concept video. This set means so much to us, and we’re so glad we had the chance to tell this beautiful story again through a different lens.

Thank you to our amazing and talented cast for putting your efforts and your energy into this project, and thank you to our small but mighty crew behind the scenes for making this possible! ❤️

“The Red String Theory is a Chinese belief that an invisible red string connects two people destined to meet regardless of time, place, or circumstance. This string can stretch, tangle, or even appear to break, but it will never snap, bringing the two individuals together.”

This year’s @welcometothe805 set, which was conceptualized by @jadalynnbato, was heavily inspired by the Red String Theory and the Makoto Shinkai movie “Your Name.” The idea of destiny and soul ties was something that was very inspiring and captivating. Bringing this set together was so much fun, and we are so happy to have brought both old members and new to tell this story of soulmates.

Thank you to @byronbucao and @the.rickycole for the opportunity to hit this stage for the second time! It’s so inspiring to be sharing the stage with so many insanely talented dancers.

We hope you enjoyed watching this set as much as we had performing it! 🧶❤️

“Everything is romantic” 💜🪻

Relationships and friendships come and go, and every time a relationship ends you take a little piece of them with you and carry it on. This piece explores the idea of falling in love “again and again”.

Thank you to @buenabulldogsdance for the chance to perform at your End of Year Showcase!
