Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens. ✨
You cross the old wooden suspension bridge, and suddenly the noise of the city just fades away. Beneath the trees, the air cools down, and everything settles into quiet.
Spent a couple of hours getting lost in the estate this afternoon. Even in the height of the Texas heat, Miss Ima Hogg had such an incredible vision when she designed these gardens. Seeing those white marble statues set against all that lush greenery… it’s structured, precise, and yet so gentle.
And then there’s the house itself—a total pause in time. You can feel the care and patience behind every room, in every single corner. But what caught my eye the most was the golden Chinese wallpaper... when you step closer, you start discovering all these hidden, delicate details.
Walking out, I had that rare feeling of finally letting my mind settle.

I crossed back over the bayou with a lighter heart, taking a little bit of that poetry with me. ✨

Incredible scented week-end at FragCon, Houston, TX.

I got to meet many perfume houses and their creations. Some well known, some ultra niche and some artisanal ones. I was fortunate to attend 5 educational sessions and learned a lot.

The only cons, imhn*, is that there were too many “cotton candy” “milk-sugar” scents, but I will put that on the trend.

At the end of the day, it is always nice to meet with people passionate about perfumes and this Art is really gathering a nice community.

June 2026, Brenham TX.

Brenham is a historic city in east-central Texas, the county seat of Washington County, located between Houston and Austin. Known as the “Birthplace of Texas”, due to its proximity to Washington on the Brazos; It is famous for its bluebonnet trails, historic downtown with shops and murals, and as the home of Blue Bell Creameries. @bluebellicecream
