5 benefits of dancing bachata 💃🏻🔥

It’s not just about learning steps.

It’s about what happens to you when you let the music move through your body…

✨ 1. You become more confident.
Every dance teaches you to take up space, express yourself and trust your body.

✨ 2. You get out of your head.
For a few songs, there’s no overthinking. Just music, connection and presence.

✨ 3. You reconnect with your sensuality and feminine energy.
Not for anyone else. For YOU. Feeling your body, your energy, your femininity, your aliveness.

✨ 4. You learn to connect.
Bachata is a conversation without words. Listening, responding, trusting and being fully present with another human.

✨ 5. You feel ALIVE.
The music. The movement. The chemistry. The laughter. The adrenaline. That little spark that reminds you there is so much more to life than getting through the day.

Dance has taught me that confidence isn’t something you wait to feel.

Sometimes you simply move first… and the confidence follows. 🖤

So if you’ve been waiting for a sign to start dancing…

Consider this your sign. 💃🏻✨

For most of my life, I believed I had to earn rest.

I believed that if I slowed down, I would fall behind.
That my value came from how productive I was.
That the harder I pushed, the more abundance I would create.

But Kabbalah taught me something that completely changed my life.

We don’t receive according to how hard we work. We receive according to the size of our vessel.

Your vessel is your capacity to receive the Light.
Love.
Joy.
Opportunities.
Abundance.

And here’s the paradox…

When our nervous system is constantly in survival mode, rushing, proving, controlling, and hustling, our vessel contracts.

We may be working harder than ever, yet we become less available to receive.

True rest isn’t laziness.

It’s an act of trust.

It’s saying,
“I trust that the Creator is working even when I’m not forcing.”

I’ve learned that some of my biggest breakthroughs haven’t happened while I was glued to my laptop.

They happened while watching the sunset.
Swimming in the ocean.
Dancing.
Laughing with friends.
Taking a deep breath and remembering that life isn’t something I have to conquer.

It’s something I get to experience.

The more I soften…
The more grateful I become…
The more I let go of the need to control every outcome…

The more life surprises me.

Maybe that’s why Kabbalah teaches that certainty is one of the greatest spiritual powers.

Not certainty that everything will go according to our plan.

But certainty that life is always working for us, even when we can’t yet see how.

So today, this is your reminder:

You don’t have to earn your right to rest.
You don’t have to hustle to prove your worth.
You don’t have to postpone joy until you’ve achieved “enough.”

Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is expand your vessel by allowing yourself to receive the beauty that’s already here.

✨ What would change in your life if you truly believed you were worthy of receiving… without having to exhaust yourself first? by @aureliamoves

Unpopular opinion: If your spirituality doesn’t inspire you to strengthen and care for your body, it’s incomplete.

Somewhere along the way, many of us started believing that spirituality meant rising above the body.

But what if the body isn’t something we’re meant to transcend?

What if it’s the very vessel through which our soul experiences this life?

In Kabbalah, the physical world isn’t something to escape. It’s something to elevate.

King David is remembered not only for his unwavering connection to the Creator, but also as a warrior and a man described as physically beautiful. He didn’t reject the physical world. He embodied his spiritual path through it.

His life reminds us that spirituality isn’t about neglecting the body. It’s about allowing the body to become a worthy vessel for divine light.

We meditate.
We pray.
We heal.

But we also strengthen our bodies.
We nourish them.
We rest them.
We move them.

Because our vessel matters.

Not because our worth is defined by our appearance, but because this body carries our energy, our purpose, our love, our creativity, and our ability to serve.

I naturally feel drawn to teachers whose lives reflect embodiment, not just beautiful words. I believe our teachings become more powerful when they’re reflected in the way we live, including how we care for our physical vessel.

For me, true spirituality isn’t about bypassing the body.

It’s about becoming deeply at home within it.

Honor your body.
Strengthen your vessel.
Your soul expresses itself through it. 🤍✨ by @aureliamoves

May you learn to see yourself through the eyes of the Creator, not through the standards of a world that constantly tells you to be more, look different or become someone else.

You were created beautiful.
You were created worthy.
You are already enough. 🤍 by @aureliamoves

This season has been filled with deep healing, grief, growth, and moments I never imagined I’d have to navigate.

But I’ve learned that waiting for life to get easier before allowing yourself to enjoy it is its own kind of sadness.

So I keep choosing sunsets. I keep choosing the sea. I keep choosing joy.

Not because life is perfect.

Because life is still precious. ✨🤍🌊 by @aureliamoves

Not perfect. Just better than yesterday. ❤️‍🔥

I’ve been thinking about the current gender war through the lens of Kabbalah.

Kabbalah teaches that masculine and feminine are not meant to be at war. They are complementary forces, and yichud, their sacred union, is part of the restoration of harmony.

But we cannot talk about unity while ignoring violence against women.

Grape 🍇 S@xual abuse. Domestic violence. Coercion. The objectification of women. Emotional and physical abuse.

We have to end it.

And I think part of the problem is that s@xuality has become increasingly disconnected from spirituality and consciousness. When another human being becomes a body, a fantasy, a commodity, or a source of gratification, it becomes much easier to lose sight of their soul.

Pornography can feed that disconnection. So can a culture that teaches men to consume women rather than relate to them.

But this isn’t about blaming all men.

It is about raising consciousness.

Because men and women need each other. We are not two opposing armies.

The answer to violence isn’t more separation between the sexes.

It is more consciousness, more accountability, more respect, more spiritual connection and a return to seeing the other person as a soul.

Kabbalah calls us toward yichud, not separation.✨

Not unity that asks women to tolerate violence.

Unity that makes violence unacceptable.

I am Jane Doe.

And this is bigger than one case.

Because Jane Doe could be any woman you know.

So I’m speaking directly to the men watching this:

Stop being silent.
Start speaking up.
Protect women.
Call your friends out.
Challenge the culture that makes women unsafe.
Believe women.
Do better.

Sexual violence isn’t a “women’s issue.”

It’s a human issue.

Women shouldn’t have to carry the burden of keeping ourselves safe from men.

Men have a responsibility too.

So don’t just watch this.

Don’t just say “that’s horrible.”

Say something when you hear it.

Step in when you see it.

Teach your sons.

Challenge your friends.

Hold each other accountable.

Because silence protects the wrong people.

I am Jane Doe.

And I want the men who see this to stand with us.

Not tomorrow.
