🥇 Quintuple médaillée d'or aux Jeux paralympiques, la nageuse Aurélie Rivard a elle aussi subi la pression corporelle imposée aux femmes, à l'extérieur comme dans le milieu du sport. Des exigences de perfection qui ont failli l'emmener à l'hôpital en pleine compétition 🏊‍♀️

Il y a maintenant 1 an, la piscine où j’ai appris mon sport a pris mon nom. Jamais je n’aurais pu prédire un tel dénouement quand j’ai commencé à m’entrainer pour des compétitions à l’âge de 12 ans. J’ai vécu le meilleur comme le pire dans cette piscine.
1 an plus tard c’est toujours aussi bizarre de voir mon nom sur un immeuble, mais je remercie grandement la ville d’avoir posé ce geste immense. by @aurelierivard

Brève intermission d’étude pour partager le lancement de Ma première bourse 100% Féminin par le @clubmedailledor dont j’ai le privilège d’être ambassadrice. J’ai la chance d’être entourée de femmes qui ont eu un impact sur ma carrière et ma vie de jeune femme. C’est tellement important de pouvoir offrir le même soutien à la prochaine génération de filles dans le sport. Elles méritent d’être reconnues et célébrées à leur juste valeur, et d’évoluer dans un environnement plus juste et inclusif. by @aurelierivard
