The Army Reserve and @boeing signed a partnership proclamation this week, opening new career pathways for Soldiers, their families and veterans.

Lt. Gen. Robert Harter, chief of Army Reserve, and Jim Cutting, director of Army Systems for Boeing Government Operations, signed the agreement at the Association of the U.S. Army’s Annual Meeting and Exposition.

Boeing already employs more than 400 Army Reserve Soldiers, and Reserve members may be eligible for more than 1,400 open positions across the company. “We’re kind of codifying what’s already happening,” Harter said.

Brett Cox, a Boeing employee and Army Reserve Ambassador for Missouri, has championed the partnership for more than a decade. “These are Army Reserve Soldiers building the airframes that go into the warfighter’s hands,” he said.

Boeing joins nearly 300 partners in the Private Public Partnership Office, which connects Soldiers, dependents and veterans with hiring pathways, internships, SkillBridge, apprenticeships and credentialing.
