I was today years old when I learnt a male ballerina is a ‘ballerino’! Copland Dance Episodes is a new high energy, fun and fast performance completely unlike classical ballet and it’s the first time it’s been performed outside of New York, and I should probably stick to cooking over dancing (ok maybe I already knew that part...!)It was incredible getting a BTS look at The Australian Ballet rehearsals for Copland Dance Episodes before it hits the stage later this month in Melbourne before heading up to Sydney for a limited season. It’s a modern, uplifiting and fun performance that is a perfect way to experience ballet even if you’ve never been before! Grab your tickets now from The Australian Ballet. I can’t believe how the professional dancers at @ausballet train! 🩰This is Copland Dance Episodes. It’s a fun, super high intensity contemporary ballet and what’s so cool, this is the first time this ballet has been performed outside of New York!
