Dolomites - the final climb tre cime was not hard. But logistically to get to was where anxiety hit as you saw the long lines on Instagram for people waiting for the bus transfer up. It's that or pay 60 euros for parking 6 months before. And then you get to Cadini di Misurina for the dream shot just to see if covered in clouds and fog. You wait and wait not knowing if you're losing valuable time as the last bus is 6pm back home. And as chat gpt predicted , I got my dream shots by @aussie_in_transit

Lagos Di Sorapis - the one I was most scared about. Giant chains hang from the cliff face for support you from the drop off. After the rain the terrain was hard to navigate but well worth the hike. by @aussie_in_transit

Dolomites changed my life

Its been my dream to come here for years now and I never had the courage to go alone. Always waiting for the right moment and partner to come here with.

But life's short so I pulled the trigger and spent 10 days in the dolomites - it completely healed me

Hiking instead of taking cable cars, stopping to stare at mountains, hiking until it's dark and scary, no music, no noise, just cow bells jingling.

What was a bit over a week felt like a year. My poles, my boots, sunscreen, home made sandwiches and my camera.

I didn't have no @salomon shoes or @arcteryx jacket, it was me and my running shirts facing off the mountains.

If you ever need a break from life, here's a good place to start

What I consider near perfect photos of the Dolomites

Day 1 - Alp Di Suisi

- What I was told to be a 1.5 hike, took 4hrs with almost 1.2k elevation.

- But boi the scenes were worth it.

And yes I hiked all the way back down, thank God for pizza and Tiramisu by @aussie_in_transit

St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral located in Sofia, Bulgaria, one of the largest orthodox churches. I made it just in time for sunset before my bus to Romania. by @aussie_in_transit
