Jagged Little Pill.
What an incredible ride.

This show has found such a permanent place in my heart. Getting to tell this story night after night has been deeply healing, freeing, and incredibly meaningful for me and my journey. Getting to do it alongside this group of people made the experience even more special. We became a family so quickly, and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever clicked with a cast this instantly. The fact that we don’t get to see each other every day anymore already feels so strange. @_lanaschwartz_ , you are truly one of the greatest directors I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. Your ability to dig beneath the surface and uncover moments no one else could is something so rare. (those aren’t even my words they’re Diane Paulus’) I have absolutely no doubt the rest of the world will know your name very soon.

To this cast: I love every single one of you with my whole heart. Thank you for laughing with me, crying with me, trusting me, and creating something that I’ll carry with me forever. I hope this is only the beginning and that our paths cross again and again, because I can’t imagine wanting to create with anyone else.

I truly feel like I found my people. Until next time. Off-Broadway round 4 officially in the books!

Today, we wrapped up our run of “Head over Heels” at @broadwayworkshop, and what a blast it was! Reflecting on the past few months, I’m overwhelmed by how much fun I’ve had. Despite it not getting the recognition it deserved on Broadway, bringing this show to new audiences has been incredible. Among those in the crowd were queen @beltingbons and @ambernicoleardolino (original Broadway cast members), adding to the magic. Although being double-cast was hard , performing an eight show week in just a few days, I cherished every moment and wish I could do it 10 times more. Sharing the stage with these two incredibly talented casts was an honor beyond words. Also @tinythomp is truly one of my favorite choreographers ever and fav person ever. And finally, a huge thanks to our fearless leaders @marctumminelli and @sadieseel, who guided me with their expertise and their hearts. They truly are the dream team, and I couldn’t have asked for better directors. They create this tremendously safe and welcoming environment that keeps me wanting to return year after year. Hopefully, I’ll have the chance to return to Broadway Workshop next year (for a 9th year omg); it’s become my second home, and I’m endlessly grateful for the experiences I was awarded all these years. I send all my love to the entire cast, crew, and creatives! Xoxo, Austin taken in Arcadia by @austin.perkowski
