🏨 What are HOT funds? Hotel Occupancy Tax is a funding tool used by cities across the country, including Austin. It's collected from visitors staying in hotels and short-term rentals, then reinvested into the arts, music, and culture that make people want to visit in the first place. 🎨🎶 Here in Austin, that's exactly how ACME's grant programs are funded — $24 million in FY26 awards, reaching every council district in the city.
