Today I #givethanks for those who have come before me. Parents, grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, in-laws, and those who I have no familial relation. They have sacrificed much, been the subject of sore trials, and faced unimaginable adversity. And my family and I receive rewards and blessings because of their sacrifice. Today I #givethanks for the woman that brought me into this world, and can easily “take me out of this world”. One cannot forget mother, and remember God; one cannot forget God and remember mother (TSMonson). I’m #grateful for her lifelong sacrifice and devotion to family. She’s the best. Today I #givethanks for the ability to change. For the principle of progression. My soul fills with peace when I think that I can become more than I currently am, and am better now than I once was. I comment regularly that I am glad I’m not judged based on the 18 year version of myself. So why the picture of two muddy boys? Because I think they’re cute. by @austinfair17

Day 4. I #givethanks for football. My first love. It’s been said that all things are created spiritually before they’re created temporally. That’s why football 🏈 is “spiritual” to me. It’s a microcosm of life. I’m grateful for the character it builds, and the lessons I have learned. by @austinfair17

On day 3, I wand to #givethanks for Sunday’s. There are two scriptures from the Old Testament that I think about regularly: Exodus 20:8, and Isaiah 58:13-14.

About 15 years ago I started taking Sundays seriously. And taking Sundays seriously have made all the difference in my personal and spiritual development. The benefits are too many to state all in one place.

I have learned through experience, as so many others, that the “sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.” I truly am #grateful for Sunday’s. taken in Queen Creek, Arizona by @austinfair17
