They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes people only see one: Disability. 🛑

When the world looks at me, they often see the tools I use, the challenges I face, or the things they think I can’t do. They see a “limitation.”

But when I look in the mirror? I see a different story.

I see adaptability. I see resilience. I see a person who finds a way when others only see a wall. My disability is a part of my journey, but my ABILITY is my superpower. It’s the way I navigate the world with creativity, the way I solve problems, and the way I refuse to be defined by a label.

Don’t just see what’s missing—see what’s there. Because once you stop looking at the “dis,” you’ll realize I’m capable of more than you ever imagined. ✨💪

“Nothing about us without us.” 🌍✨

I took a deep dive into the world of inclusive design with the Mastercard Foundation. Here are 3 things that changed how I think about impact:
1️⃣ Youth Agency: True engagement isn’t just a seat at the table; it’s power-aware partnership. We need to “listen to learn,” not just to tick a box.

2️⃣ The 7 Markers of Strength: Impact isn’t just about the project; it’s about institutional health—from Governance to Adaptive Innovation.

3️⃣ Ubuntu: Our future lies in each other. When we lead with empathy and curiosity over certainty, we build the trust necessary for real change.

I’m leaving this workshop with a challenge: What would the world look like if everybody was at their very best? 💭

New Year, New Perspective. 🥂✨

If you’ve been following my journey, you know that my life has had two very distinct chapters: life before my disability, and life now. 📖

Living through both has given me a view of the world that I wouldn’t trade for anything. I used to think being “healthy” meant being “perfect.” Now, I know that being healthy means being resilient. It means waking up and choosing to find the joy in the body I have today, even when things feel a little harder than they used to. 💪

As we step into 2026, I want to challenge everyone-no matter your abilities-to stop being so hard on yourselves. ✋

✅ Celebrate the “Small” Wins: Some days, “living well” is hitting a PR. Other days, it’s just getting out of bed and choosing a positive mindset. Both are victories.
✅ Listen to Your Body: It’s the only home you have. Treat it with the grace it deserves. 🏠❤️
✅ Stay Connected: We weren’t meant to do life alone. Let’s look out for one another this year.

I’m entering this year with a heart full of gratitude and a spirit that refuses to quit. Let’s make 2026 our most authentic year yet! 🌟

My TED-X style Talk. 🎤✨

Life gave me a plot twist. I gave it a new narrative. ✨

In 2014, I was chasing the Mr. Nigeria title and runway dreams. One accident changed my path, but it didn’t stop my walk. Sharing this part of my Hero’s Journey that many don't know means a lot to me.

Storytelling isn’t just a “soft skill”—it’s a superpower. 🚀🧠

I just spent an incredible few days at the Mastercard Foundation Storytelling Summit & Alumni Convening (Nigeria Chapter). My biggest takeaway? Storytelling is a science. 🧪

While we think we’re moved by data, our brains are actually wired for connection. Here are the 2 frameworks I mastered to turn “information” into “impact”:
1️⃣ The ABT Framework:
✨ AND: The context.
💥 BUT: The conflict/problem.
✅ THEREFORE: The resolution and action.

2️⃣ The Hero’s Journey:
The path from Normal Life ➡️ The Crisis ➡️ The Transformation.

🏆 Big News: I put these to the test in a storytelling competition and came out as one of the two runners-up! I even got to share my story TEDx-style at the Alumni Convening the next day. 🎤✨
