POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Returning to Canada as Paralympic champion was something I will never forget but have a hard time keeping straight.

Straight off the plane we threw a 120+ person party at my parents house, some teammates came & all were invited, the mayor spoke and some champagne was popped.

A few days later the @bluejays had me out to throw the first pitch and we had 60 friends and family in attendance.

A couple of days later the @mapleleafs invited me to the home opener where @jzesseu99 @mayameschkuleit and I were recognized by the whole stadium.

I spoke to students @ a few schools, chatted with a few hockey teams, met the PM, shook some hands, kissed some babies and got on more short notice flights than ever before.

2024, you certainly never disappointed and are clearly going out with a bang! by @austinsmeenk

🙌😍Being part of the 💪Power of Parasport🇨🇦Workshop with these incredible 🤩Paralympic Legends @austinsmeenk @collcam88 @jamesdunn4 at the Shine Foundation 💭Dreamers Summit-Creating a Brighter🌟 future for kids👧👦🏾🧒🏻💜 with disabilities, was an experience I’ll carry with me forever🥹.

With these 3 incredible 🇨🇦Canadian Paralympians, we shared our stories of tenacity, resilience, & strength, hoping to inspire the next generation & pay the courage to go after your dreams forward⏩.

🥹Watching these kids’ dreams💭🙌 come alive through this extraordinary organization filled my ❤️‍🔥🥰heart to the absolute top. Their 😄smiles, their 🎉excitement, their belief in what’s possible… it was pure 🪄🧞‍♂️magic.

Parasport is the 🧐lens that I teach through, but the @theshinefoundationcanada is what makes these dreams real.
🥹💜🙏What an absolute honour to be part of this unforgettable event. #morethanyousee #shineon #dreamers #powerofparasport by @austinsmeenk

what if it’s not about what your body can’t do, but what it’s made for?

et si c’était pas une question de ce que ton corps peut pas faire, mais de ce pour quoi il est fait?
