Drew finally made his cross country post so I can finally make this one! After finishing my first semester of college that included my first ever xc season, I have realized I’ve only been able to do so because of Drew. He helped me train all summer and stay committed to running even when I wanted to give up. He did all of this while still being able to focus on himself and his senior season. Going from seeing each other everyday to only getting to see each other on the weekends was something we weren’t ready to do. We didn’t know how this would work or what we could do to fix it. Thankfully I was able to come back home every weekend all because of Drew. He always made sure to put gas in my car so I could make the drive, and buy me alanis and breakfast to keep me awake. He would stay up late comforting me after I had a long day and wake up at 5am to call and tell me Goodmorning before my practices. He did everything all while having a phenomenal season. I have never met someone who works harder, or have a bigger heart than Drew. He will always be the first person to go help someone even when struggling himself. I’m so thankful I get to fall in love with him more and more each day and watch him grow into the amazing person he’s becoming. I could not think of a better person to call my best friend and lover all in one. I’ll forever cherish watching him run this season and cannot wait to be his biggest fan in college. I am so excited to see what he will do this track season! I love you Drew, forever and always❤️ @drew_.kelly by @austyn_.hansen
