You think you’re being polite.

But when you believe following up is chasing, it shows up in the words you choose.

The apologies.
The vague check-ins.

That’s the language of desperation...

And your prospect can feel it.

So before you rewrite the message, look at the belief behind it.

If we haven’t met yet, hi, I’m Gazzy.

Over 550 new faces have joined this community in the last 90 days so it felt like the right time to reintroduce myself.

I’m a sales mentor for female founders who are tired of being great at what they do but inconsistent at selling it.

I started in politics at 16. Spent years running campaigns, managing teams, and learning how people think and what moves them to act.

Then burnout hit. I walked away with no roadmap and rebuilt from scratch.

That season is where Sales Beyond Scripts was born.

I believe selling is not something you do to someone. It’s something you do for someone.

And I’ve built my entire business around that belief.

While mentoring female founders I kept seeing the same pattern. Everyone was focused on everything except the number one needle mover in every business.

Sales. No profit= no business. So I made it my focus.

I’m not the coach who sells you a $49 course and promises you’ll make millions next month.

I work with a small number of women each year.

We go deep.

We build real sales processes that feel aligned and actually convert.

My clients stay with me for years.

Not because they have to. Because it works.

If you’re a female founder who knows selling is the missing piece, you’re exactly who I’m here for.

Swipe through and get to know me a little better.

@brittholmeslive has managed $50 million in ad spend.

She’s run campaigns in 12 languages across six ad platforms.

And she still turns clients away.

Because before she spends a dollar of yours, your house has to be in order.

A website that already converts.

Social media that’s active, because people will fact check you.

And a budget you’re ready to commit.

So if you’re not there yet, she’ll tell you to try it organically first.

On this week’s CEO Sales Sessions, we also got into what a starting budget really looks like, what to have ready for Black Friday and why she likes to launch service businesses on December 27.

Is boosting an Instagram post the same as running ads?

I asked @brittholmeslive , who has managed over $50M in ad spend. Her answer is that boosting is basically paying to be popular, and tomorrow she explains why and what to do instead.

New episode of CEO Sales Sessions drops tomorrow.

Why is my sister not answering??? Helloooooo

I need to know if I should wear glasses on stage

And which shoes she prefers with this fit

Answerrrrr!!! by @authenticgazzy

Have you ever watched a speaker on a big stage and wondered how she got there?

is she a better speaker? more of an expert?

this is the middle of building my speaking career, and I’m building it publicly. so here’s my story:

I’ve spoken for free.

I’ve paid to speak.

I’ve been paid $100.

I’ve been paid with a water bottle.

I’ve been paid thousands.

And every opportunity is a pinch me moment!! I am grateful for every single opportunity.

the part nobody posts is the grind before the stages.

the keynotes I pitched before anyone had booked me…

the stylist before there was a stage…

the hours and the dollars I put in to get in the rooms and shake hands with decision makers.

the nos, and so many yeses.

and honestly? I’m enjoying every part of it. not just the stages. the work of setting a goal and going for it, the practice, the anxiety pre stage, the hours of work my team and I put to prep.

why do I share this? because if you don’t want it that bad, you won’t do what it takes. Repetition is everything in this industry! Reps reps reps!!

Your name and reputation matter so you have to work on it daily. If you’re not willing, you won’t make it in this industry.

I’m hungry. I won’t give up until I get there❤️‍🔥🎤

Just landed in Vancouver and I can’t wait to do @wealthsummitco all over again in this city!

Come find me at the event and say hi 🫶

@iamginajudge nothing makes me happier than seeing a woman of colour lead this movement ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 You’ve produced an event way bigger than yourself. You should feel so so proud! You’re helping so many women change the trajectory of their lives with this financial literacy. by @authenticgazzy

5 years ago I made the best decision of my life: marrying Ali ❤️

The universe randomly connected online, but I knew we were soul mates. I knew after a few dates that this man was husband material.

The moment Ali entered my life, EVERYTHING glowed up.

I met Ali a few months before I launched my business.

His love, support and energy allowed me to step into a whole reinvented version of myself.

Within a few months dating him, I was doing things I’d never done before.

Yes I had done so much healing, therapy and travel to become a match to his love, but truly his safe and secure love allowed me to step into my potential.

That’s the thing about marrying a secure man, they are not intimated by ambitious woman. Ali has always been a force of belief for my goals. He listens to every idea, every keynote and helps me iron every outfit you see on the podcast.

Marriage is truly more than love. It’s a partnership. Doing life together. The up, the downs, the messy and the big wins.

Every life moment is better with you by my side Ali ❤️

Even in the tough moments, you know how to make me smile and push me to be better. I’m so grateful to have attracted a man like you.

I used to name my rate and then immediately negotiate against myself.

"It is 3,000, but we can change the scope, or split it up, or maybe I can..."

Nobody asked for the discount. I offered it out of pure discomfort.

Here is the truth: your client is listening to your words. But they are also listening to whether you believe them.

Price does not need an apology. It needs context, clarity, and silence.

Try this instead: "The investment is 3,000. That includes [outcome], [support] and [scope]."

Then stop talking. Let them process. Let the value you just explained do its job.

Confidence is not pressure. It is stating the offer without negotiating against yourself.

Save this for the next time your throat tightens before the number.

Tell me honestly: where do you shrink most, saying the price or sitting in the silence after? by @authenticgazzy

Doing it yourself feels like saving money... Then you do the math.

@alessyabaggettadesigns broke it down perfectly:

If a graphic takes you 5 hours, multiply that by your hourly rate, you might have actually lost money that day.

Hand it off, and those five hours go back into client work and the parts of your business that need you.

For me, design is something I’ll always pay an expert for. I will not use AI to create visuals. Period. It’s cheap af and we judge.

As a CEO, your job is to know what you’re great at and outsource the rest.
