Picked these up when I was in Portland a few weeks ago. Lowkey super excited for Perdido Street Station, but having met ML Spencer and John Bierce I’m incredibly hype to read their books as well!

If you want to join the discord buddy read check out @amashofbooks or @spacedoutreads pages!

Will today be the day I finally finish it? After avoiding it for days I am attempting to just finish her and move on. Sucks that I loved Hyperion so much but couldn’t connect to this one, but I think with a reread in the future I could probably, maybe, hopefully, appreciate it more.

I am unfortunately still making my way through fall of Hyperion which feels like it’s taking forever, and if you know me you know if it takes “too long” then I lose interest which is the last thing I expected after reading Hyperion in like 3 days.

The disappearers I am purposely taking my time with because of its poignant messaging, I mean it’s super fucking depressing but in a good way?

Also props to @klizzjenmc and @diana_and_dragons for once again getting me to ignore my TBR to buddy read this kingdom will not kill me, though let’s be real, I’d do a buddy read with them for far less 😂 taken in BOOKSTA by @authentichomebooking

Good morning! The start of a new week and another round of Reading As Much As I Can - a game where everything is made up and the points don’t matter. Today I’ll be sitting down with several manga volume 1s to see what sticks.

What are you reading this week?

(Also please tell me you know the reference so I feel less old this morning) taken in Spokane, Washington by @authentichomebooking

The messiest shelfie Sunday because sometimes it’s just like that 💅 ft. stacks and stacks of books I got at WorldCon and Dragon Con that I still haven’t made content for.

Currently reading:
The fall of Hyperion: 60% through and likely to finish this morning
Off the reservation: 25% - out Tuesday!
The Disappearers: 23% and so good I just know it’ll break me 😣

I’m going to drag show bingo with a friend today I’m so hype about it 🥳 what are your plans today? taken in Spokane, Washington by @authentichomebooking

More like a list of “why haven’t I read this yet” honestly. (So many amazing stories, so little time.)

Also like if anyone wants to buddy read one of these with me 🙃 I mean… 😇

What’s an indie book you’re dying to get to?

Banger reading year honestly. If I could get to all of the books on the second slide that’d be great 😌

What are some of your favorite reads this year? So I can add them to my never ending TBR.

I read… a lot this week.

September, though I read 10 books, was really busy and stressful. This week I wanted to get back to what I love and fully ground myself, so I made it a point to sit down and read as often as I could. Please don’t take this as a how-to guide, if you read zero pages last week that’s also valid.
(Also, for the record, I did get out of the house this week! Props to my IRL friends Erin and Nickole for that)

I’ll be finishing hell bent today and then idk what to read next. Help me choose: taken in Spokane, Washington by @authentichomebooking

Some quick reviews from my September reads. I read 10 books in September and some of them are new favorites! Some were just mid.
