It was just one of those weeks where I had to dig my roots of faith deep in the ground and not waver at the fiery darts of tge enemy.

God also reminded me to not rely on the arm of flesh. Sjoe, thank goodness for His promises.

How was your week? by @authenticmom_

Day 13...and I am starting to feel the shackles falling off.

I did not think it will work at first, but I really enjoy content creation. One foot infront of the other, that's what kept me going so far.

My reach is also picking up🤭

Do you think I will make it to day 20? by @authenticmom_

It might seem silly but honestly it works.

Life is incredibly fast paced and I often lose out on precious time with the kids. Yes, it is almost December already👀

This is only my baseline and it has become a habit in our house. No matter how busy it gets, I make sure to fill their mamma-meters with these activities.

Yes, we literally scheduled @jessica_vanheerden in our routine, Z loves her😆. When I am incredibly busy or in a virtual meeting, Jessica is in babysitting duty. Thanks Jess!

How do you make sure to fill your child's mamma meter? by @authenticmom_

I lost a lot of hair recently...I am still on a journey to restore it. To be honest, I do not know what's going in but I am working it from the inside out for now.

I discovered @seaier_hair and the smell was what made me fall in love first. I love that it is paraben and sulphate free, this means it gentle and nourishing on the hair. It contains bergamot and rosemary😍

What's your best haircare tip? I could do with some. by @authenticmom_

Teacher B's brain is always on a role...take a peak inside.

-I pray that people learn to not only create special needs awareness, or accept it but take the time to understand our neurodiverse children.

-A child is not naughty (I never use that word), there is always a reason behind the behavior.

-Non-verbal does not automatically mean less intelligent, I have met the most clever non-verbal people.

-I believe my special needs kids have the purest hearts.

-Every milestone (too some it may tiny and irrelevant) is worth a celebration.

-Predictability avoids most tantrums.

PS I've been doing this for more than a decade.

What burning questions do you have for me? Not only for my special needs moms💜

You didn't see this one coming, right? Yes, I was on @mooimaak_makeovers S1 in 2017. It was really the opportunity of a lifetime and just what I needed at that time to elevate my life. My confidence was at its lowest.

The entire team was amazing and educated me in so many areas of my life. I highly recommend you visit @jjs_dentistry_capetown and @skinrenewalsa .
Oh, and I got to sit under the brush of THEEEEEE @reneedewitmakeupartist

@dr_maureen_allem and @dr_andre_truter look at us🥹🤭

Did you watch the program? Also, if you walked this journey with me, what do you remember about it? by @authenticmom_

It seems simple, but....

Clean the kitchen at night. Your future self will thank you that you've spend that 20minutes last night. Put on soft music, a poddy or something you like to watch if it feels to dreadful.

Now, tell me, do you clean the kitchen at night? No judgies. Are you gonna start implementing this habit?

Also, I like the smell of this @sunlight.za dishwashing liquid.

This little 30minute task totally sets me up for the week ahead.

Absolutely love @crazyplasticssa for an organized kitchen.

What is a task you always do on Sundays that sets you up for the week ahead?

Okay, let me know what you will be making first?

I broil the chicken and potatoes together in one pot, roast them, make a green salad, all done!

A boerie and a salad, the kids always prefer chips.

Cottage pie, green salad and roast veggies (put both in the oven at the same time).

Gooi together what you have in the fridge🤭

"Chicken-palla-king" and rice.

Toasties, chippies and lots of salad.

Quick chicken curry, sambal that's ALWAYS in the fridge and store bought beetroot.

Savory waffles😍

Tomato credit, rice and veggies on the side.

Chicken wraps like the ones in "Voicemails to Isabel"

Whatever is in the fridge😆

Oven day? Let's sommer do a tray-bake.
