There’s so much to unpack about Sinners but I wouldn’t have enough time in the day to explain how this movie made me feel. I’ve never felt so inspired, proud, educated, and so moved by a film EVER. I also never been to see a movie THREE times going on four and feel no shame about it! 😅 THANK YOU Ryan and Michael for such an incredible vision. I decided to challenge myself because in my heart, I couldn’t just draw one. The ENTIRE cast did their thing. It’s only right I did the same. To my second family; I love you guys so much. The entire community. What a BEAUTIFUL service it was. My brother read his obituary SO beautifully. I couldn’t be more proud and I know Caleb is too. The family surprised me with having my artwork everywhere. And to have it on the back of the obituary? What an HONOR. Thank you so much. I immediately started crying. So surreal. I drew this a few weeks ago. I honestly don’t know why I’ve waited but the way that God presented the sign that today is your birthday and I had no idea, means it was meant for me to post it today..

No other words but you and your family should be celebrating another year. Your 19th. My deepest condolences and prayers to the family. “I’m going to post on here as well just so everyone is aware of why I may seem a bit off or distance. Received some disturbing news Sunday evening about my friend’s brother being in an accident. We prayed. So hard. Had faith. Been long few days. Hoping, praying for a miracle. But we got the news that he did not make it. We lost him but God gained him. I had just seen him that Friday evening. He was bringing in his mini fridge in the house 😅, prepared to go to college. Technically yesterday he was supposed to leave for college actually… 💔 Gonna be very vulnerable and honest with yall, I’m trying so hard to be strong for my friend (his sister Corrin) and my brother because that was one of his best friends. I’ve been dealing with loss back to back just trying to distract myself from it all but there’s only so much that I can take. This will be like the fourth person I lost within 3/4 months. I’m learning to allow myself to feel too and it’s not easy. We all are going through it, no one is taking this easy honestly so if everyone can please to keep everyone, friends, especially family in heavy prayer. Wrap your arms around his mom Lord. We’re gonna send you off right Caleb. You were EXTREMELY loved. We love you. Cover us all as we prepare for not goodbye, but see you later.
