If you ever thought to suicide…Just Read It!!!

Rating :- 4.5/5⭐️

“The Boon” by Mayur Sarda is a novel that intertwines elements of spirituality, philosophy, and self-discovery within a fictional narrative. The story revolves around Anusha Maheshwari, who attempts suicide but is given a second chance at life with the condition that she must find her “boon.” This quest leads her to an ashram where she discovers letters left by her great-grandfather, which guide her on a transformative journey.

The book is generally well-received for its unique plot and the way it tackles deep philosophical themes. Reviewers appreciate the raw and realistic portrayal of Anusha’s emotions and her character development throughout the story. The integration of mystical and magical realism elements creates an engaging atmosphere that keeps readers intrigued.

However, some critiques point out the presence of gaps and unrealistic elements in the plot transitions, which can disrupt the reading flow. The book’s pacing is also noted as being occasionally slowed down by lengthy philosophical discourses. Despite these issues, the overall consensus is that Mayur’s debut work is a commendable effort that offers valuable insights and lessons on life.

For readers interested in a blend of fiction and spiritual exploration, “The Boon” is a recommended read, especially for those new to philosophical literature .
