There are so many fun dialogues that happen in my book that have stemmed from actual conversations I've had with my husband 🤭

Mind you, this was only my first day trying, and I was using a bow that was with a draw weight that was WAY too high for me because it was my husband's bow. 😂

Excuse me while I go watch more of @blumineck and daydream about getting better 👀

Note: I used Canva stickers for all images in this post. There was no AI useage to my knowledge in creating them, so I don't know why instagram flagged it as "AI content." Does anyone know how to get rid of that?

Thanks for reading! Let me know in the comments anything I missed! And if you like this kind of author/bookish content, hit like and follow for more!

I'm just dropping in with a quick little update for everyone since I haven't really been very active on here lately.

The book is still actively being worked on. As of today, 45 out of 57 chapters have gone through their first round edits, and plans are starting to get underway for writing book number 2 along with a few possible novellas.

Thank you to everyone for following along and for all your interest and questions about the story/characters. If you have any questions about my writing, please feel free to comment them! 😊

P.S. yes, I do my writing on a tablet as I have no laptop at the moment, and also, yes, the wallpaper is related to my book 👀 by @author_mswalker

While my characters are all their own marvelously complex people, I do draw inspiration for many of them from people in my life. Particularly those who have been supportive of my journey as a writer. Does anyone else do this? 🫣

They're not so much "enemies to lovers" as they are "flirtatious annoyances, to reluctant, bantering besties, to lovers"

Get to know Odessa and Eamon in my upcoming book about an abused princess and the guard captain who changes her life.

I'd give you a title, but it's the one part of the book I haven't written yet🫣

What do you think? Do you like a good bantering dynamic?
