Sometimes you need a day to rest. Don’t feel guilty sitting and doing nothing. No phone, no tv, no distraction. Take moments to think and process. by @author_whmacpherson

The closer my story is to completion the scarier it gets. But I won’t let fear stop me. Writers have to start somewhere. I’m not perfect, but I will do my best to become the writer I know I can be. #writer #author #dreams #writerlife #selfpublishing by @author_whmacpherson

I wish comparison wasn’t in our vocabulary.
I find myself comparing with others too often.
But we have one life to live as ourselves. And I’m learning that my measure of success looks different from others. So here’s to a season of trying to be me. (Some context: I’ve been trying to grind on skates for almost two months now and finally got a split second of grinding). It’s not much, but it’s a start! I’ve also been worrying about the story I am writing and whether it’ll be boring or actually mean something to others as it has meant something to me. But publishing my story matters to me and that’s what I’ll do. I can only get better as a writer the more I write. #writer #selfpublishing #writerlife #inlineskating #dreams by @author_whmacpherson
