when I first fell in love with @sleep_token several years ago, I thought it was some of the most romantic music ever. Devastating and so beautiful. So often I read romance books and thinking of a Sleep Token song that would be a perfect fit - so here’s a running list, though I could go on for days 🖤 so we can call this part 1! 🫶🏼

🖤Book Recommendation🖤

Hello! Is anyone else ready to read what happens in Sloane’s book? Have you ever wondered where she was first seen? Let’s take a look at the first time we meet Sloane, she may be just a side character but she’s the baddest one there is!

Check out Sloane in Written in Stone the first book in the Sweetwater series. Now available!

Written in Stone:
He was hired to protect her. What he never expected was to become obsessed with her secrets. And the closer he gets to the truth, the harder it becomes to keep his hands—and his heart—off her.

JOEL
We’re Navy SEAL mercenaries, the cream of the crop who operate in the morally gray areas of the law, contracted to do what the government cannot. We’re Sweetwater Security, and we’ve just been assigned to a babysitting gig.

But now my curiosity is piqued. She’s a little liar, and I’m nothing if not a man who seeks the truth. I’m going to break her apart, piece by beautiful piece, until those walls she’s worked so hard to build come crashing down, and she can no longer hide behind her false sense of security.

By the time I’m done with her, she’ll be nothing but shattered fragments of her being that I have the pleasure of putting back together the way I choose.

She’ll be mine, and I’ll do with her as I please.

STELLA
I condemned my soul to hell at the tender age of fourteen, and I’ve been haunted ever since. But the only evidence of my corruption is rotting somewhere in a forest outside Detroit.

And now, fifteen years later, I’m forced to face off with an arrogant mercenary who believes he can save me by digging up the skeletons I’ve buried deep. He thinks my torment is worth exploring for his own sick satisfaction.

But he’s not the only one seeking my dark depravity.

Will I be strong enough to evade the danger he’s unearthing? Will I fall prey to my past and join my skeletons in hell?

Or will my bodyguard be there to pick the pieces up when I finally crumble?

new to the shelf✨ thank you @stmartinspress @wednesdaybooks and @authoradwilde for the gifted books!

💭what books have you recently added to your shelf??

I, of course, came home with some books from @tnlitcon and also came home to some fun bookmail!

👉🏼swipe to see what I got! 🤭

I was SO excited to finally get a physical copy of my girl @authorpaigecharles debut book! & she signed and personalized it for me 🥹

Highly recommend checking it out!

I met @mhartley_author at TN LitCon, saw the tropes for her book, The Games We Play, and had to take it home with me! I also ordered Where We First Fell from @shopbrokenspine since I missed grabbing a copy there. So excited to check both of these out!

Thank you @stmartinspress for the gifted ARC!

Lina & June comes out in December and I thought this story of friendship sounds so sweet! Excited to read this one!

Thank you @stmartinspress and @wednesdaybooks for my gifted copies!

These copies are the new deluxe editions to celebrate 20 years of the House of Night series! Magic and vampyres?? Sign me up!

I was also able to meet @authornicolefiorina at TN LitCon! These books are part of her fantasy series and they just sounded perfect for this time of year!

Thank you @authoradwilde for this copy! @authoradwilde had her both next to ours and she was so sweet! Loved chatting with you and @agrimreader 🫶🏼 if you’re a fan of dark romance, definitely check her out!

If you made it this far, thank you! Now tell me the last book you added to your shelf 🤭 by @authoradwilde

𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐖 by A.D. Wilde🔥🖤

🔪🩸 𝐁𝐋𝐔𝐑𝐁
Insanity—I can taste it lingering on the tip of my tongue, threatening to slip down my throat and poison me. But my hunger for revenge is relentless. And I’m not leaving this earth until my appetite has been satiated.
The only problem? I’m being robbed of my sins before I can commit them. And I know exactly who’s to blame.
She’s prepared to stain her soul by seeking sweet revenge. And although I enjoy watching her toy with her prey, I won’t allow her to condemn herself to hell for eternity.
I’ll lurk in the dark, stealing her gratification the way she steals my breath, until every drop of blood from the men who wronged her has run dry.
After all, monsters like me were built for this.

I’m so excited for TenLitCon next week 🥹📚

It still kind of blows my mind that I get to do this. I get to travel to book events, meet authors I genuinely admire and look up to, and then somehow ALSO meet readers who walk up to my table because they want to read my books???

Still pretty sure I accidentally wandered into someone else’s dream life 😂

If you’re headed to Tennessee Lit Con Sept. 25–26, come find us! And if enemies to lovers is your weakness…consider this your shopping list. 👀🔥 by @authoradwilde
