This post is late in coming, but with how much our family has navigated these past six months, a social media post felt overwhelming. But it’s time to update friends and family on our life! Since May 2025….
-Scott and Allie got married!
-James graduated highschool and received his mission call to Atlanta Georgia North.
-Justin accepted an opportunity with a company in Oklahoma and began commuting over the summer.
-Mary and Hayden spent the summer in New York and then announced the coming arrival of our first grandbaby in Feb.!
-Justin, Liza and I moved to Oklahoma in time for start of school, leaving behind the rest of the family💔
-Sold our home in Utah!
-Bought our home in Edmond.
-James came to OK for mission prep, home MTC, and then back to Utah to start his mission.
-(Had a nervous breakdown somewhere in the middle-thank you perimenopause & life!)
-Liza started at a new highschool, became an athletic trainer with the football team, and nabbed a lead in the musical (I’ve relied on her courage and strength more than once!)

Life has been emotional, overwhelming, painful at times, and, yet, God has been in all of it. His constant watchcare in answers to prayers, family support, friends old and new, ministering angles and miracles all along the way, have given us courage and trust in his plan! by @authoramandataylor

We said our goodbyes in phases. First in OKC and second at the MTC. It never gets easier, sending off a missionary. But the joy and gratitude are equally as present as the sadness we feel. We love our Elder Taylor! Hooray for Israel❤️ by @authoramandataylor

Happy 19th to James! His humor draws people to him. His relaxed confidence sets people at ease. A man of few words, but always working his plan, friends and family orbit around him.
