Can I get some 🥵🌶️🔥 in the chat for how SMOKING this art piece of Aurora and Harkin is that @liberlibelula did?!

To say that this artist knocked my vision out of the park is a gross understatement. She launched it into ORBIT. Whiskey & Werewolves is setting up to be one of my spiciest books yet and diving into territory I've yet to conquer as an author.

The book releases Sep 30, but is available to pre-order NOW on Amazon. (Convenient link in my bio) A vampire x werewolf fated mates romance.

QOTD: Now that the ENTIRE Contemporary Mythos series is released (I can't believe I get to say that) - which has been your favorite?!

AOTD: Every single one of these has a sliver of my soul and it'd be so incredibly hard to pick! Apollo is my love letter to music/art, Eros was SO fun because I went pure rom com, Hades will always be the original, Ares was challenging and fun to get more steamy, Poseidon was such a nice change of pace, and then there's Zeus - sigh. I love him to death. I really do. He too was a challenge and my first full dual POV and for that I truly hold that book very close to my heart.

Aurora is minding her business, simply enjoying life running her bar The Crimson Crypt, when an alpha wolf from her past (her *deep* past) comes two-stepping back into her world when a threat on her life looms. The distaste for each other is still very much there and the heat? Undeniable.

A vampire x werewolf enemies to lovers romance.

✨Whiskey & Werewolves✨

So happy to dive back into the arcane cove world!! Thank you @rrbooktours & @authorcarlyspade for having me on the tour and this adorable pr box!!! A vampire, who owns a bar (gives me true blood vibes), and a badass fmc needs help with fixing her bar up and who took the job on? A werewolf that she had a past with! However, his alpha sense kicked in and vowed to protect Rory (our fmc) due to finding out she’s in trouble! waffles was the ultimate main character of the whole book too! Hehe

tropes:

🌙Alpha hero
🌙Age Gap
🌙Blo@d play
🌙Claiming/Biting/Marking
🌙He “takes care of her”
🌙Animal Companion
🌙Kn@tting

My review ❤️

This was so different and I loved it!! I didn't expect this to work so well but it really did and I'm happy to have read it! A couple formed by a vampire and a werewolf? Definitely unexpected and I knew I had to read it.

The banter between Aurora and Harkin was amazing! I love banter to the moon and back and this was really done well.

I love how Harkin's protective instinct brought them together and how things evolved between them. It didn't feel rushed at all.

Even if they've met once before but they were coupled with other people, it was sweet to see each perspective on their first meeting and what would've happened that day if things were a bit different.

And Waffles?!! OMG! He's just so cute! Even if he's a zombie mix Frankenstein pup, he's managed to capture my heart.

And the spicy scene at the end? Oh my, I didn't expect it but I have to say I loved it!!

Thank you @authorcarlyspade @rrbooktours for the e-arc!
