This one’s a bit different, more of a meet me post. So, Icy Heart isn’t the first book I wrote. There was another one before it that went through edits but I’m not 1000% pleased with. When I finished with Icy Heart, I knew it was the one I wanted to publish first. It felt the most complete to me, the one I resonated most with. I meant originally to publish it as a standalone but I’ve had ideas for another story within that universe. Stay tuned!

I mean, not to start drama but it’s me, hi! I’m the author it’s me.
This book was a lot of taking chances for me. Cora’s in a similar position. The routine deal she was doing came back to bite her hard. Damien on the other hand never takes chances.

Our boy Damien is a gold star boy for sure. He goes to visit the love of his life and best friend at her coffee shop even when she doesnt want to see him. He gives her space, yearns from afar and never stops caring. He’s not perfect but he’s a good egg.

When I created the book, I was hoping for a sweet book about friends who lost touch and came back together. As an author, I dont love insta love. Instead, I like organic connections more, make it feel more real to me.
