May long weekend in Saskatoon.
Yesterday's rain turned to snow overnight and today's high is 3 degrees Celsius. Our forecast for the next few days is for very low temperatures and periods of rain. Frustrated gardeners are learning patience. Maybe.

Smiling happily in winter snow.
The Buddha statue in my yard has never been covered this deeply in snow. Spring is still over a month away on the prairies. I am happily starting my tomato plants this week. Warmer weather will come.

Fog on the prairies
This is truly unusual for us. The fog lasted into the afternoon, the hoarfrost longer. A true delight for an afternoon stroll.
