❓What was your last 5+ star read? ⁣
⁣
Thank you @rrbooktours for the tour invite and huge thanks to @authorkvmeadows for sending me your book! I loooooved it! I legit couldn’t put this one down. ⁣
⁣
I really loved how crafted and well-established this world felt...it’s not fully modern like ours and there is a great history of vampires and lycans that share a complicated past (kinda gave me Underworld vibes in the forbidden nature of their species LOL). I read a LOT of vampire and werewolf shifter stories, and this one felt fresh and fun and with high stakes and danger and big reveals, and an all set in a really interesting world that I would absolutely read more about! ⁣
⁣
The chemistry between Aura and Sylvan was just electric right from the start. I loved their banter and all the attitude as they have to work together. I love the slow trust and how everything comes to light as they spend more time together. I really enjoyed the blending of vampire traits and the omegaverse-ish lycanthropy traits, and both of them navigating each. ⁣
⁣
This definitely seems to set the stage for another book - and I will very happily wait for another return to this world! I loved reading this book, and I highly recommend this paranormal/fantasy romance! ⁣

QOTD: Team Vampire or Team Werewolf?🤎
•
Bonds are stronger than blood.
It tis the season of paranormal romances and one thing I love is when the main character makes a deal, especially if one’s a Lycan and one a Vampire. I’m actually so obsessed. Sylvan makes a deal with Aura that he’ll aid her cure research in exchange for access to the university library. If Aura survives and Sylvan can ensure the longevity of his pack, they’ll need to set aside their innate hatred for one another and work together. I mean enemies working together? Sounds like falling in love to me!
If you like:
🤎Gothic fantasy setting
🤎Heat and knotting
🤎Chosen mates
🤎Bite for bite
🤎Vampire x lycan
🤎Green flag alpha
🤎Loathed to lovers
🤎Alchemy
•
Thank you so so much @rrbooktours & @authorkvmeadows for the stunning gifted copy and spot on the tour!

🐺 Feral Born by @authorkvmeadows 🥀

Guys - it’s been a LONG time since I’ve read anything that has a lycan, let alone with a vampire. This was a fun, fast-paced paranormal romance that brought in that lovely tension in a mysterious-feeling gothic atmosphere.

This is also a stand-alone which I LOVE. I feel like we don’t see too many non-series paranormal romances!

What’s Inside:
🥀 gothic fantasy
🥀 heat and knotting
🥀 chosen mates
🥀 vampire x lycan
🥀 loathed to lovers

Be sure to check the triggers before diving into this one!

Thank you so very much to @rrbooktours & @authorkvmeadows for the review copy ♥️✨

💌 qotd: would you prefer to be a human, lycan or vampire & why?
.𖥔 ݁ ˖༘⋆ ☾ ⊹₊ ⋆｡˚
thank you to @authorkvmeadows + @rrbooktours for having me as part of the tour for Feral Born, a dark fantasy romance perfect for lovers of chosen mates & vampires x lycans! Feral Born was released into the world this week & you can read it on Kindle Unlimited now ✨

I absolutely loved reading this one & found the “I hate to want you” chemistry between Aura + Sylvan to be so sinfully delectable in the best way possible (OMG the spice in this is literally SOOOO good 🥵) I also throughly enjoyed that both characters were in the early 30’s because the emotional maturity that they both display throughout the story truly made them feel more relatable. if you’re looking for an enjoyable dark fantasy romance with the incredible combo of both lycans & vampires, this is definitely the book for you!

make sure to add this to your TBR if you love:
🐺 alchemy
🐺 green flag alphas
🐺 loathed to lovers

✨️ARC REVIEW✨️
(Full reveiw on Fable 🔗 in bio)

Feral Born by @authorkvmeadows

Aura, an alchemist professor, is racing to find a cure to a deadly disease that's turning lycans into uncontrollable beasts. The problem is that one of those infected lycans bit her. She can't ask anyone for help because she happens to be a hybrid, which is illegal and will get her executed if anyone finds out.

Enter Sylvan. Alpha of a lycan clan, who's brother died from the disease Aura is trying to cure. He is desperate to find a way to protect his pack from an outbreak.

When Aura and Sylvan's paths cross he starts to recognize the signs of the disease in her. But he also notices that she's showing signs of a female lycan going into heat, and she has no idea. Aura is the only chance Sylvan has to find a cure, and he is watching her slowly unravel day by day.

Can he get her to stop fighting him (and her lycan side) before it's too late?? Only one way to find out 👀

Feral Born is now available on KU, paperback and, hardback!
