Anyone else’s desk look like this?!

Guys, I’m starting to emerge on the other side of my writer rat cave life! I’m to the point where I’ll do a final read through this week and just have my synopsis to do.

Of course I’m polishing my query letter but it’s almost go time!

I’ve been blessed to marry into the best family ever! They are all my besties, and I love them so much!

I recently did something scary at the age of 36… I decided to bet on myself and write that book that’s been hidden on my laptop.

Can you tell by the bags under my eyes that I’ve been living and breathing this book? This is real life. Didn’t do my makeup or hair, I’m in my loungewear. I’m keeping it real with yall 🤣

It brings me such joy to get feedback from my beta babes! They are all second hand embarrassed for my MMC during a part in chapter 10! I’m giddy waiting for them to get to the other rom-com-y parts 🤭

Kinda chic to take care of your mental health! I took 10 days away from social media and my manuscript. I spent a week of it at Disneyland with my kids!

The anxiety of writing my debut novel was messing with my sleep and it’s okay to take a step back. Now I’m recharged and ready to hit the ground running!
