I work (or worked 😅) in marketing in corporate America, so a lot of what I knew I’d need to do when I started my author journey came pretty naturally:

✨ Build a website
✨ Post on social media
✨ Advertise
✨ Hire talented people to do the things I can’t do myself

What I wasn’t prepared for was how much interest there would be in me as a person, and not just the stories I put out into the world.

So here’s to being a little more open and sharing more of the person behind the books with you all. 💕

I was recently laid off from my corporate job, and while I’d love to say I’m taking this opportunity to become a full-time author, that’s not quite realistic right now. But it’s definitely a goal I’m working toward!

So while I figure out my next corporate chapter, I’ll also be spending plenty of time getting Book 2 finalized and into your hands. ✨

More to come on that very soon👀

September was a lighter month as I work through my TBR while editing Book 2 in the Love Stories of the Upper East Side series. A lot of changes happening over here in Paige Matsons world and a lot of exciting things to come📚

Im savoring the Skyland series with Book 2 this month, read a romantic suspense, and a new series release all about Dance Moms. As a girl with the BFA in Dance, I ate that one up 💕

What have you been reading lately?
