Pokemon my book character’s would have as trainers!

As you may (or may not know) I’m a huge fan of Pokemon and thought this would be a fun little post to make including my characters

💙 Emilia & Sareena would be a dark and fairy type trainer couple (with Sareena having an occasional grass type) and while Emilia has one Pokemon, Sareena would have as many as she could!

🧡 Aseem would only have cubone, given it’s unfortunate backstory, until he meets electric type lover Amara who convinces him to have a twin Pokemon with her 😭

💜 Andre would love his fighting type and Ariel Pokémon’s to box with, whereas Fran would love the sleek and elegant look of dragon and water types 🌊🫧

🩷 Last, but never least, Marcus would have fire type Pokemon on his team, but would only have two because he’d feel guilt for being unable to care for more! Alira would have Alcremie as her partner, with other dessert themed pokemon running wild in her kitchen 🧁

My dream one day is to commission @moss.illustrations to bring my sweet characters and their pokemon to life, how cool would that be?? Hope you liked this post bc I definitely had fun making it!!

Different type of post today. Recently in the bookish community a large amount of big authors and creators are not using whatever platforms they have to raise awareness or support Palestine, the one place that needs it the most.

Before anyone says that this is just a publicity stunt to gain followers or readers let me tell you this, I am doing this because no one in this community is talking about the things that need to be talked about. Most readers are living in ignorant bliss just so they can read their favourite Zionist authors books without any guilt and others think sharing a few posts is enough. It’s not. I’m doing this to not only raise awareness but to help in any way I can those innocent souls trapped in Palestine.

When the book (you can look on my page for more details) releases on July 16th, once and if we hit the goal of £1500, all the royalties gained for the Gaza Appeal fund will be directly donated to UNRWA.
As an indie author I wish I could give 200% if the royalties earned but it’s simply impossible as of right now, one day I hope I can give as much as I humanely can for such an important cause.

I’m not 19 anymore 🎂🖤

Today marks the day that I’ve been around for 20 years now, which means two things; 1) I survived teen pregnancy and 2) RIP to my teenage years 😭 Seriously though, today was the best birthday I’ve had in the last few years and it’s all thanks to my sister who made today as fulfilling as it was!! 💞🫶🏼

I’m honoured to have the family, life and friends that I have and although the last decade was anything but kind, my wish for this birthday is to fill the next one with nothing but joy!! 🖤
