I loved 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫, which you can preorder here: https://us.amazon.com/dp/B0H8FGZJ4P Okay first off, @lucialaurence.author can 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦. I mean, I felt like I was in Theodore and Ari's heads, in their feelings, and in their trauma. I related so much to Ari because I like things organized and just so and I was a Touch Me Not until I found my person And Ari’s person was Theodore, even though he’d originally met Theodore’s other persona - Todd. Todd is what happened after Theodore was hurt, because Todd is strong and he doesn’t get attached… But Todd is also a big jerk. Which is a problem, because it turns out that Todd and Ari have to work together. On the same project. In the same office. And istg Todd is a walking HR violation 🤣, so the push and pull between them was delicious; I constantly wanted to know what was coming next. There was so much I liked about this book. The play on Theodore/Todd, the stark differences in the MC’s support systems, Skye and their outfits, Mara – shipper extraordinaire, and the big HEA. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 will be released on October 13th, so definitely pick it up! Now I’m off to check out the rest of the series.
