Happy July, everyone! Every teacher repeatedly receives the following question: “What do you even DO over summer break?” In my case: write, write, write. (And also grad school because I want attention or like to suffer or whatever.) Anyway, “Whims” is very nearly out of the manuscript stage and close to publication. I just got the final version back from my editor and am ready to begin the last proofread, then it’s formatting time! I should have a release date and pre orders available very soon. I initially planned for book three to be out by now, but the final installment wound up being much longer than I’d anticipated. I needed a lot of pages to make sure Jae and Halston’s story concluded exactly the way it was meant to. I’ve been very excited about my new WIP, and I’m not quite where I wanted to be with that project timeline-wise… but I’m trying not to feel too discouraged. Juggling my priorities has been a little difficult this year, but I’m beyond blessed to have the summer to focus on my writing.
