LS swapping a car is complicated enough without trying to make a 30-year-old gauge cluster understand a GM ECU. 😎

For Project Swedish Meatball, we paired AutoMeter’s 12.3-inch InVision Digital Dash with its CAN Bridge to give our turbo LS-powered Volvo 940 a modern gauge solution.

The InVision monitors everything from RPM and speed to oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage, while the CAN Bridge lets it communicate with our OBD-II-based GM electronics.

And because this is still a ’94 Volvo, Big 3 Racing handled a little old-school fabrication to make the modern display look like it belongs there.
