MUSIC + Connection is a night created for people who loves music and is finding a community. Think of it less like a formal performance, and more like a friendly house party. I don’t just want you to only listen the music, but also listen to the stories behind each songs, what do they mean to the musicians. At the same time, I also want to hear your stories, how the songs make you feel, and what‘s going on in your life. ⭐️ As a sound engineer, I’ve been lucky enough to meet and work with so many incredibly talented musicians, singers, and songwriters. But when I go out to a gig, I often feel a massive wall between the stage and the crowd. I miss the time when I practice and writing with friends, sharing each other’s favourite songs, and chatting all day long ttogether. That’s what music meant to me and that’s why I’m launching a brand-new music night: Music+Connection | Share and Listen. 💚 You are not only here to discover new music and musicians, but also to truly get to know them. I want you to leave ready to tell your friends all about them, because by the end of the night, they’ll be your friends, too. I genuinely want to get to know you. So, let’s forget the formalities and join this community. ⬇️ Our very first night is on next Saturday 24th October at The Tailor Cafe+Wine Bar @oioitailor , if you can’t make it, don’t worry, the next one will be on the 19th November at The Cook Book Shop @cookbookshopedin Tap the link in bio to grab your spot, I want to make friends with you! #music #edinburghmusic #edinburghlife by @autumaudio
Hi! A little introduction for those who don’t know me yet I’m Parasol, a sound designer and engineer based in Edinburgh. I work across music, theatre, live performance and animation. I also run my own events, work in a lovely tea shop, and spend a lot of my time surrounded by art, culture and interesting people. Most people know me from theatre projects. Since last year, I’ve stopped doing UK tours because I decided I wanted to spend more time with my cat and, well… have a life!!!! So, I’m currently looking to take on more exciting projects in Edinburgh/Scotland/North England or anywhere that I could travel to for a short period of time. I’m available for: ✦ Live performance & concert recording ✦ Music and concert mixing ✦ Theatre sound design & mixing ✦ Theatre sound dep work across Scotland & North England ✦ Sound design for animation Basically, if you’re making something that needs to sound good, I’d love to hear about it. I am a fun and a bit crazy person to work with and I promise you won’t regret knowing me ⭐️ cheese ✌️ by @autumaudio

Having spent parts of their life in Tokyo and England, they have moved between different places and cultures. On the 24 October, we will showcase Cici Chen @cici_chen_music at The Tailor Cafe + Wine Bar @oioitailor Cici Chen is an Edinburgh-based multilingual singer-songwriter originally from Shenzhen, China. Drifting between indie folk and pop, her music traces love, longing, and quiet becoming — like letters never sent, or a soft scream into the void. With her sweet, mellow voice and a desire for acoustic arrangements, she leans into an organic, storytelling texture, creating a safe space where listeners can gently draw closer and immerse themselves in an intimate musical connection. 🎫 Ticket link in bio 🔗 by @autumaudio
