When I was finally ready to give us a chance
You were gone
It was too late
I took too much time in figuring out what I wanted
When I finally did, I couldn't find you
I guess I expected you to still wait for me
Like you said you would

This feels like raw data waiting to be processed to information lol....

So the challenge is take this piece and recreate it into something depending on your interpretation of it .

Anyway what do you think of the poem. Let me know in the comments

Isn't it beautiful to be loved ?
To find a love so purifying, it fills your heart with so much joy that you're afraid it might explode

Newsflash: Being a people-pleaser doesn't absorb you of people talking about you or "judging " you, so you might as well shine bright

Somewhere in June, I received the best news of my life , a writer wanted to collaborate with me on a play he's working on. I was so touched by that, like why will he choose me, I don't sometimes like my writing style , so why me, even tho it being my desires to write movies and plays

To cut the story short, inasmuch as I was happy and grateful for the opportunity, I wasn't prepared for my blessings, so I found myself seeking comfort in procrastination and anxiety. I felt so overwhelmed by the good news( blessings) I was receiving that month that it felt like everything was happening too fast and to soon in my life, and that I was struggling to catch up with my life. So yeah, I never did the collaboration.......smh in disappointment 😞

So yeah, it's not enough to just pray for the dream or the blessings you're asking for, whilst you wait for the prayer to be answered, make preparations to receive the blessings, do you need to work on your mindset so when the blessings come you don't self-sabotage it then do that. Coz it doesn't end on just asking, it says, "Ask and you shall receive." Luke 11: 9.

Isn't it weird that just one thing or one person or a situation can change the whole course of your life ?

Or that, one small change in your routine or habit can set you on the right path

Sometimes, the things that frustrate us are actually blessing in disguise, and if we pay attention, we'll realise what it's trying to draw our mind to ...

Wrote this some weeks back , was all giddy-up, and excited to start posting that week, and I guess not surprisingly, I went right ahead and gave in to procrastination.

Heck, I had wanted to post this on the 1st of this month, but excuses and procrastination took the driver's seat, so I pushed it to the next day ,and here we are 5 days later finally posting it . I guess better late than never, right ???

I know the signs or thought process that let me know I'm going to Procrastinate, but I give in to it anyway........ It has become a habit I'm struggling to break free from, so if you have any tips or advice for a habitual Procrastinator, leave it in the comments

Also, for this month, starting from today, I've decided to challenge myself to post every single day so.........here we go.

☆ I was contemplating whether to post it or not, I guess the former won
☆ Not gonna lie, I felt a bit shy and embarrassed to post it 🙈😊, even though it was part of the post for this week.
☆ Is it me, or does it feel incomplete? Hmmm 🤔😊👀😁
