Crochet brings a calm that is hard to replace!
Especially in this day and age (saying that makes me feel old!).
I have had the opportunity to crochet with @beelori1 a few times and she is a wonderful teacher and friend.
Seeing her crochet display at @gardenofquilts was so fun and motivating!
I can’t wait to get my hands on her new crochet book. It’s waiting for me at home. 🤭

Many years ago I got one of these beautiful market baskets at my first @gardenofquilts and I was hooked.
I used that basket for years to bring my crochet and cross stitch everywhere I went including church!
Five years in its handles wore down and it broke.
Four years ago I again purchased one at Garden of Quilts and it is now beginning to wear out as well (what a good long life they have!)
This year I purchased my third basket in anticipation to use it as soon as my second one bites the dust!
This charity is nonprofit and does so so much good for so many women and children!
They are getting ready for a restock in the beginning of October so get ready!

Spending time with @beelori1 at her World of Lori Holt event was amazing! 💗
If you know Lori, you know she is the sweetest, most down to earth, feels like your best friend immediately kind of lady. 🫶🏻
Getting to chat with the Queen Bee herself was so much fun!
Thank you for all the enjoyment you bring to the quilting world Lori, you have changed my life from your very first book. 💗

This was magic to my little heart! ✨
What an incredible time it was doing this pattern with @rileyblakedesigns this year!
And then to finally see it in a brick and mortar quilt shop literally brought me to tears!
My sweet Mom spotted it and it absolutely made my day!
Thank you @knhquiltshoppe for having my pattern grace your beautiful shop! 🫶🏻

Getting to see @kassidygracedesigns is always one of the highlights of @gardenofquilts 🥰
She is the sweetest and just beautiful inside and out!
Getting to see her quilt for her new line Charmed & Treasured was a highlight for sure! It is gorgeous.
And @beelori1 said I could be her sis so if you’re wondering I’m now part of the family. 🤭

The @gardenofquilts event was a little bit of a bummer this year due to terrible weather.
But there were a few bright spots at least among the lighting and canceled events.

🐌 This baby quilt is for one of my favorite people in the whole world.
And I haven’t even met her yet. 🥺
T -4 Days until I get to meet my new niece!!!
To say I’m excited is an understatement.
I guess I had better get her quilt done asap so I can clean my house. 😅

Fabric is by @officialmodernprairie and I just love this line!
