✨ Feeling so grateful after this incredible interview on Louisiana First News! ✨
As Miss Louisiana Port City’s Teen, I was honored to join Virginia Kirkpatrick, your current Miss Louisiana’s Teen, to share all the excitement surrounding this year’s state competition.

We talked about what truly makes the Miss Louisiana’s Teen Organization special —
💛 Scholarship opportunities that help young women chase their dreams
💛 Community service initiatives that empower us to make a real impact
💛 Sisterhood that lifts us, connects us, and lasts far beyond the crown

And of course, we shared all the details for the big weekend:

📍 Miss Louisiana’s Teen Pageant

Today I was honored to speak with anchor John Pastorek from WBRZ News 2 in Baton Rouge, alongside Alma Stewart, the founder and president of the Louisiana Center for Health Equity. Having the opportunity to sit down with her was incredibly meaningful, especially because her work directly supports the mission behind my community service initiative, Raising Kids for a Healthy Future.

As Miss Louisiana Port City’s Teen, I’m passionate about helping young people understand that a healthy future begins long before pregnancy — it starts with strong pre‑conception health. During the interview, I shared why educating teens and young adults about their health now can lead to safer pregnancies, healthier families, and stronger communities later in life.

That’s why I’m so excited to highlight the Louisiana Center for Health Equity’s upcoming Women’s & Maternal Health Webinar. This event will bring attention to the preventable pregnancy‑related deaths happening in our state and offer life‑saving information for women and families.

💛 What the Webinar Will Cover

• The current state of maternal health in Louisiana
• Why so many pregnancy‑related deaths are preventable
• Warning signs and health risks families should know
• The importance of pre‑conception and early health education
• Resources and support available through LCHE and community partners

💻 How You Can Be Part of the Webinar

Getting involved is simple:

• Follow the Louisiana Center for Health Equity on social media
• Look for the registration link for the Women’s & Maternal Health Webinar
• Sign up to attend virtually
• Share the event with friends, family, and community members

The more people who join, the more lives we can impact.

I’m grateful for the chance to use my platform to support this important work and to stand alongside leaders like Alma Stewart who are fighting for healthier futures for all Louisiana families.#raisingkidsforahealthyfuture #misslouisianasteen #NationalNutritionMonth #AmericanHeartAssociation #maternalmortality @lahealthequity @american_heart @missamericasteenla taken in WBRZ Channel 2 by @autumnpercival

I was honored to speak before the Louisiana House of Representatives Women’s and Children’s Committee on the urgent need to strengthen maternal and childhood health in our state. Louisiana ranks 50th in national health outcomes, and our maternal mortality rate remains among the highest in the nation, with chronic cardiovascular disease driving many preventable deaths. Improving childhood habits is essential to changing these outcomes and building a healthier future for every family.
Thank you again to @lahealthequity for giving me this opportunity! 💙

So grateful to be officially presented at the Louisiana Leadership Institute Mardi Gras Washington ceremony hosted by Congressman Cleo Fields ✨ @realcleofields

I am deeply thankful for the supportive donors who are helping make my journey to Washington possible. Your generosity is opening doors for me to represent our beautiful state.

I am honored to serve as a Princess for the Washington Mardi Gras Ball, a celebration that takes place each year in Washington DC. Since the 1940s this event has brought Louisiana culture to the nation’s capital through tradition, service, and joyful unity. The Krewe that travels each year carries a legacy that I am humbled to join.
@washingtonmardigras

Being surrounded by incredible young women from across Louisiana who represent their hometowns, festivals, and communities reminded me how powerful our sisterhood truly is.

I am grateful to have been selected for this opportunity and I pray to carry Louisiana’s heart with grace, gratitude, and purpose 💜💚💛

✨ First place and a $1,000 blessing — what a night! ✨
Starting this caption with the biggest news on my heart. Winning first place and receiving a $1,000 prize at the Kelly Kicking Cancer 2026 competition feels surreal, and I’m so grateful for every moment that led to this.

This was my second time competing, and stepping back onto that stage reminded me why Kelly Kicking Cancer is so special. Their story began with a family determined to honor Kelly Key’s legacy by turning pain into purpose, raising awareness for brain cancer and supporting families with strength, compassion, and unwavering hope. Their mission inspires me deeply, and I’m thankful for everything they continue to do for our community.
@kellykickingcancer

Being part of this event aligns so beautifully with the Miss America Opportunity, where service is the heartbeat of everything we do. I love that God has given me talents I can use to serve in a unique way — whether I’m singing, speaking, or showing up for causes that matter, I know He placed these gifts in my life for a reason.

That $1,000 prize is such a blessing, and I’m excited to use it toward my journey to Miss Louisiana 2027, continuing to advocate for youth wellness and the mission behind Raising Kids for a Healthy Future.

Tonight reminded me that when you show up with purpose, God multiplies it. 💛🎤✨

So grateful for the sisterhood the Miss America Organization and the Miss Louisiana Organization have given me. One of the greatest blessings of this journey has been my sweet friend Ava Martin, Miss Louisiana’s Teen. We met through this organization, but faith, purpose, and shared dreams made us family. Ava is one of my closest friends, and watching her grow into the leader she is today has been such a gift.

Opening Mid City Got Talent 2026 by singing I Wanna Dance With Somebody was such a full‑circle blessing. Last year, I was honored to be the very first winner of Mid City Got Talent, and stepping back onto that stage as Miss Spirit of the Red reminded me just how much this community has poured into me.

Mid City Redevelopment Alliance continues to strengthen Baton Rouge through housing, education, and neighborhood revitalization, and I’m grateful for the way they uplift families and create real change.

Thank you, Mid City, for giving me the opportunity to showcase my talent and reconnect with the incredible community leaders and partnerships who make Baton Rouge brighter every single day. @drlawrencesalone

My heart is full. Glory to God always. ❤️

✨ Farewell ✨
Tomorrow, I give up my crown. My heart is overflowing with gratitude, joy, and faith. Before anything else, I want to thank God, who carried me through every moment of this journey every appearance, every handshake, every child’s smile, every opportunity, every challenge, and every blessing.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13

To my mom and my sister, thank you for being my foundation. Your love, your support, and your belief in me made this year possible. You held me up when I was tired, celebrated me when I succeeded, and reminded me who I was when I doubted. @moniquekop @summer_michellep

To the Miss Louisiana Organization and the Miss America Opportunity, thank you for giving me a platform to grow, serve, and shine. Thank you for being the largest scholarship provider for women in the world and for investing in my future. @misslaorg

To Shelby, thank you for guiding me with grace, wisdom, and so much love. @shelbyrbordelon

To Ava, thank you for being the sister who stood beside me through every step of this journey. @missavamartin
To every community partnership, every event, every appearance, every leader, every activist, every politician, and every child I met, thank you. You shaped my year more than you know. You taught me compassion, leadership, and the true meaning of service.

To my Miss Louisiana sisters, thank you for the laughter, the prayers, the encouragement, and the memories that will stay with me forever. Sisterhood is one of the greatest gifts this opportunity gave me.
This year has been full of purpose, service, scholarship, success, and sisterhood, the very points of the Miss America crown. I am forever grateful for the chance to represent my community, to serve families across Louisiana, and to grow into the young woman God is shaping me to be.
With all my heart, thank you. 🫶🏽
