Take two…

Trying to post … only to have something go wrong and the draft not save is so frustrating.

A late catch up …

This past April, I had the distinct pleasure of checking off a few of my bucket list items:

1. I had the pleasure going to New Orleans for the first time—April 21st - 23rd. Sadly, just missed the jazz festival on account of boarding a cruise ship the day of which it was to start. Well there, I had the pleasure of meeting and connecting with a number of wonderful models who are later walk with a fashion show on the cruise ship. We had an amazing time of exploring bourbon Street, hitting up an alcohol tasting (even though you got a drunk), and going on a ghost tour to learn about it, spiritual depth, just the name a few things. Also ran into the actress Anya Taylor-Joy who was kind enough to allow a pic.

2/3. Me going on a cruise finally manifested—April 23rd - 27th. Purpose of the cruise was twofold—got to enjoy four days in total of being on Carnival Valor, and basked in a few hours (way tooo short) of which on the 25th were spent in Cozumel, Mexico. Cruise ships are massive and there is so much to do.

Being in Cozumel was peaceful. The people were welcoming and attentive to the needs of visitors. I had the pleasure of going to Passion Island with a few and had a lovely time of enjoying the water. Didn’t want to get back on the boat.

On the morning of 26th, Showtime came about, and the fashion show commenced. #queensmencruise2026 . This came out as a result of me reaching out to @auvanette last fall, who allowed me to participate in the fashion show. I cannot thank her and the queens and crew enough for a wonderful experience and a chance to connect with other designers, a Model Coach, and others who made the fashion show as unique and impactful as it was.

I cannot wait until Season 4 comes about and for our next destination.

More traveling to come!!!! taken in Cozumel, Mexico by @auvanette
