It's Monday! You know what that means right? "The start of another week," I hear you murmur, which is absolutely correct. However, the answer we were looking for is "we're two days away from the next Auxigen event", which is technically also correct. And you know what they say, "[technically correct] is the best kind of correct."

Wednesday, October 14th at 8pm will be when the opening DJ will start at, 9pm will start the open aux (or sooner if we have a lot of sign ups early on), with the sign up sheet appearing sometime between these hours. Come play your music, or come see a free show! We'll see you soon. 🫁🫁🫁✌️

We've officially entered the weekend, which for a lot of us means more free time to create music. This upcoming Wednesday, October 14th, will mark the next Auxigen open aux where we can show off everything we'll make this weekend, connect with other producers, and find a breather during the middle of the week. Mark your calendars and we'll see you soon! The event will be at @thinking.man.tavern at 8pm. 🫁🫁🫁

Auxigen will be back at @thinking.man.tavern next week, October 14th. If you're a beatmaker, a producer, an electronic musician, etc., pull through and play some of your music! If you're none of the aforementioned roles, come enjoy a free concert of amazing musicians that the algorithm won't provide. The rules are as follows: Sign your name up on the list, connect to our auxiliary cable, and play! We'll see you soon!

Auxigen at Thinking Man Tavern

Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I sign up? What time should I show up?

Are there any rules?
- We show nothing but love and positivity towards everyone and their creations. Rude and disrespectful behavior is strictly not tolerated. Please be able to set up to play within two minutes or less.

We're still reminiscing about the joy brought by Auxigen this past Wednesday. 🤧 There's not many safe havens dedicated to electronic and DAW centered music making specifically here in the city, so we're doing our best to make sure that's here and continues to be free. We'll be back on October 14th at @thinking.man.tavern whether you're looking to play, network, or just enjoy some great musicians. Mark your calendars! We'll see you soon.

There's so much great, local music that your algorithm hasn't told you about. For your consideration, Auxigen is the gateway to music your regular open mic, radio station, nor Instagram feed would typically show you. Auxigen is more than an open aux for electronic musicians and beat makers: it is a place where egos are checked at the door, and the hard working creatives behind knobs, buttons, LED lit screens, and an assortment of cables gather together to play music, discuss the process, and meet other creatives who just "get it" when it comes to why we're compelled to create.

"But I don't make music! I have nothing to play there," i hear some of you proclaim. That doesn't mean you can't come. This is a FREE event for you to be serenaded by sequenced drums, warm samples, syncopated melodies, and—perhaps coolest of all—the souls of other humans poured into their art just for you. Bring a sketch pad, play a board game, or maybe even just sit at the bar and relax from the work week. Auxigen is here to provide a breather for you.

Tomorrow, September 30th at 8pm to midnight, will mark the next Auxigen event at @thinking.man.tavern. Will we see you there? Let us know in the comments.

We're two (2) days away from the next Auxigen open aux and YOU 🫵 have got to be there with us. Name a better reprieve from the middle of the work week that involves beatmakers of all genres, cold beer, and no cover charge? That was a trick question; you can't! We'll see you at Thinking Man Tavern this Wednesday, September 30th, at 8pm for more open aux shenanigans. Travel safely!

You've officially made it to the weekend. 🤧 I don't know about you, but I'm thinking about this upcoming Wednesday. Auxigen will be back, meaning YOU 🫵 have a place to cut loose, breathe, and play some music. Or draw! Or bring those Magic the Gathering cards you have and whoop your friends! While the main focus of the night is the open aux segment, there's enough within the format where you can be your unabashed self. You bring your truest self, we'll bring the tunes. Agreed? Cool.

There's a rumor we'll have some special guests visiting from out of town. Who? You'll just have to stop by and see. We'll see you at @thinking.man.tavern Wednesday, September 30th at 8pm to find out. See you soon! ✌️🫁

Every other Wednesday, there's a (not-so) secret fellowship for beatmakers at @thinking.man.tavern where we play beats, discuss the creative process, and find peace from the troubles of the work week. It's a place where creative people can..... Breathe. 🥁✨

The next Auxigen will be September 30th at 8pm. Come by and sign up to play, or come by and enjoy a free variety concert. We'll see you soon!
