Real Modern Terrain Arts (RMTA) Introduces AuxBlox: Redefining Phoenix’s Internal Block Infrastructure

Real Modern Terrain Arts (RMTA) announces AuxBlox, a strategic housing initiative designed to address Phoenix’s evolving urban footprint by activating the city’s historic alley infrastructure and rear-lot service corridors.

For decades, Greater Phoenix’s mid-century residential blocks were constructed with dedicated alley access and rear-aligned utility systems that have remained largely underutilized. AuxBlox leverages this existing layout, utilizing minimum five-lot splits to transform passive service alleys into functional, active residential lanes. By focusing development inward rather than expanding outward, the initiative enables controlled, predictable infill density without altering primary street frontages or disrupting established neighborhood character.

Engineered specifically for alley-served geometry, AuxBlox delivers locally manufactured, architect-designed modular housing that connects directly to existing municipal infrastructure. Developed in collaboration with design studio Brick & West and Phoenix-based manufacturer United Tiny Homes, AuxBlox offers a repeatable, regulatory-aligned framework for property owners, developers, and municipal partners.

By prioritizing infrastructure readiness and block-level integration, AuxBlox transforms Phoenix’s forgotten rear-lot geometry into long-term functional value and scalable housing solutions. taken in USA by @auxpr

One tortoise can take down half your household food waste — greens, stems, rinds, wilted produce, the stuff that normally rots in a landfill and turns into methane and CO₂. Instead, it becomes fuel for this slow, steady machine. No merch. No mascot. Just an endangered species doing quiet work while it eats a bowl of salad in the yard. by @auxpr

Think Inside the Block™. Phoenix’s future isn’t at the edges — it’s at the center of its blocks, where fully‑infrastructured interior terrain has been waiting for decades to be activated. RMTA is building the system, the team, and the movement to unlock it. taken in Sunnyslope, Arizona by @auxpr

Lot reservations are now open for the first twenty architect‑designed AuxBungalow™ homes at 12th St & Butler Drive in Sunnyslope’s Little Beverly Hills. Phoenix‑built. Small‑footprint. Off‑grid‑capable. Each one on its own desert‑foundation lot with an HOA engineered for stability and civics.

The model is simple: every AuxBungalow™ funds an AuxMini™ shelter home for St. Vincent de Paul. Market housing that directly builds humanitarian housing — one‑for‑one.

Twenty homes now.
500 in three years.
A real, scalable housing network starts in the Valley of the Sun!
