Two years with my guy🩷I can’t keep a smile off my face when I’m with you. Thank you Jesus, I’m living in prayer💝 •

A few weeks before I met him I decided I was going to give up on love because I was tired of these dang boys and I started praying to God to just take the wheel. It was hard having to 3rd wheel all the time but Jesus gave me a peace about it and I knew he had a plan. I met Alex for the first time ever in October of 2023. I was with my friends at a house and Alex and his cousin showed up, his cousin was dating one of my friends at the time, I had no idea who Alex was and I didn’t really care to know bc I just didn’t think anything of it. BUT for some reason (God) right before they were about to leave I randomly walked up to him and said “how old are you?” And he said “14” and I said “okay” and walked away. The next weekend, with the same friends, we went to a bomb fire and oddly enough, he was there. We didn’t say a word to each other but all my friends wanted me to go sit with him. I thought they were crazy, I didn’t even know him. A few days later his birthday came up. And after a lot of convincing from my friends I said yes to letting them send a video of me saying “happy birthday Alex” to him. He said “thank you ava”. And we didn’t talk after that. The next weekend I broke my foot and the plans we made to go stay in Hyde county were no longer for me because well, I couldn’t walk. But my friends once again, after a lot of convincing, convinced me to go anyway. I hadn’t gone to the doctor yet, bc I didn’t think it was broke, so I just got some crutches from a friend and we went and stayed in hyde co. Alex was there when we got to the house (I didn’t know he was going to be there) and he had a broken arm (we both had broken bones haha). I sat down on the couch when I got inside and Alex just plops down right beside me and puts his arm around me and introduces himself. If you know me, you know I am very shy and alex is clearly the complete opposite. We talked all night long. And even since that night, I knew God had answered my prayer and we hung out every single weekend after that. And we started dating 3 months later! 🩷🩷🩷 thank you Jesus! by @av.aharris
