This past weekend our beautiful and loving Mother passed away. We could not have asked for a better Mom. She was the most wonderful role model. She had such a significant impact on many lives. She had the tendency to make everyone laugh and smile. Our Mom always gave out the best advice. She loved rescuing and fostering dogs. Her passion was to give them new homes to dogs in need. Our mom absolutely loved listening to Morgan Wallen. Her favorite place was the beach. Over the past year our mom has been suffering from a neurological life changing condition. She spent countless hours getting help and finding ways to heal her body. We hope in the future there will be more research and answers that will help other people that are struggling like she was. We know she is now an angel watching over us and will forever be in our hearts. We greatly appreciate your support during this hard time. We love you Mom. Fly high🤍🪽

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Mom. This is the third birthday we have celebrated without you. Today, you would have been 54 years old.

I miss you so much, Mom. I never realized just how much I would need you. This past year has been the hardest one without you. Starting college, meeting new people, and being away from home… your absence is impossible to ignore. In all my accomplishments and milestones, your absence is loud. I have to ask myself in situations, “What would mom think or say?” And it gets to a point where I don’t know. And I just want to ask. But I can’t.

I would give anything to hug you one more time. I miss your laugh, your smile, and your huge heart. Some days it’s impossible not to get overwhelmed by sadness, anger, or even jealousy. But over time, I’ve realized that instead of looking back on what I’ve lost, I need to look back on the incredible impact you had on everyone around you.

That’s the beautiful thing about grief. If it weren’t for the love and bond we had with the person we lost, we wouldn’t be experiencing the emotions that come with losing them. I have to remember what a loving and devoted mother you were to Ainsley and I. What an amazing wife, daughter, and sister you were. You did so much for everyone around you, even when you couldn’t take care of yourself. You were so sick. I wish you could’ve gotten the help, peace, and care you deserved.

The last picture was the night before you left this earth. It was the most beautiful sunset I had ever seen. Just one hour before that photo, I said goodbye to you. I never would have thought that would be our last goodbye. I wish I had hugged you tighter.

Your friends always described you as the light in every room. The person who could make anyone laugh, the one everyone could count on, and the one whose smile was impossible to not smile back at. I hope a part of you continues to live through me. If I can become even half the women you were, I know I’ll have lived a life worth being proud of.
