as one story ends, a new one begins.

as this chapter closes, I can’t help but feel bittersweet about it ending. although I am excited to move on to teaching choir, I can’t help but look back on all of the people I will miss. I will never be able to repay the kindness that everyone in this department has shown towards me. thank you for letting me “teach” (even though I had no clue what I was doing) you’re one of the reasons I found my voice and my passion for choir. it’s safe to say theater has become such a vital part of my life that I don’t know how im going to live without it. theater, brought me out of my shell and brought forward all of these amazing and beautiful people. I couldn’t be happier with the way my theater journey ended. each and every one of these lovely people have been apart of my day to day life for about two years now and I am so sad to come to the realization that some of them won’t be with me as the future progresses faster than ever. no matter the stress we felt and no matter how frustrated we got with ourselves, everyone was still there for each other. that, is vital to theater. you cannot put on a production without it. without teamwork and unity within the theater we are only a show. with teamwork, we are a family. family that may not be blood related but is still, family. that unity shows on stage. it’s times like these when I am reminded that it is important we stick together because if we don’t, I can assure you it usually doesn’t go well. the arts are important during times of crisis, it brings us together. I encourage you to stay involved with the arts because without the arts, we are anything but human, art makes us human.

I feel so much love and gratitude towards this cast and crew and I cannot wait to see what everyone will go on to do. I am so proud of each and everyone of you. thank you for making my last show so special, I will cherish it forever.

oh my goodness where do I start? I had the best start off to my year by going to its with all of these wonderful people! everyone is so talented, amazing, and kind. I wouldn’t trade anyone in this troupe for the world. the arts, are such an important part of who we are as people and I was reminded of that this past week. these people, remind me why I do what I do. everyone is so kind and welcoming that it’s unbelievable. congrats to everyone who got superiors you are all so talented and beautiful! my goodness, where to start?

I am so incredibly thankful for the people I’ve met during this musical. everyone was so kind and supportive. everyone lifted eachother up when we needed it and everyone helped eachother no matter what. ive made so many new friends and new ride or dies that i never thought i would be friends with. my gosh am i thankful for that. there were some people in this musical who had absolutely no experience with singing or dancing and they all did it flawlessly. i am so incredibly proud of everyone who did the musical. thank you to everyone who made me audition, and the people who were involved.
