Brazil has truly been a life changer for me. God has been calling me to go on a mission trip for years now, and I am so grateful that I have been blessed with the opportunity to go. I met some of the kindest and generous people. Even though we may speak different languages, I built so many good relationships based off a love for the church and one another. I have been humbled beyond I ever imagined. I know that I was where I was supposed to be, and the people both in the favelas and the amo team taught me what true love and compassion is. Every person we talked to was open to sharing their story and hearing ours. The children had such big hearts. I now have an even stronger desire to spread the Gospel and do the Lord’s work throughout my life, whether I’m at home or in another country across the world. Brazil will always hold a special place in my heart.
